I think I have an issue with caramel on my skin chemistry. Bianco Latte, Jany, Mula Mula, and Eclair, all didn’t work on my skin. Jany smelled nice but it felt flat on me. But I have to agree with Byron fragrances, Green Butterfly is the only one I sampled and loved and have a full bottle. I’m excited for Black Butterfly. great video! 😊

Funny I got the Bianco Latte because I saw it as a new perfume on MicroPerfumes and didn't read the notes lol because I assumed based on the name that it would be like a coffee type scent. I'm not a big gourmand fan either. I wear it because I bought it 😂 thankfully it's not gaggy sweet. Just enough sweet. But every time I leave a room people say they smell waffles and syrup 😏🤣 and they think it smells so good and I'm like "I don't want to smell like a pancake house" 🤦🏻‍♀️ Eastern European over here 👈 yeppp definitely used to eat condensed milk straight out of a can 😂🤢

😂 I had a similar problem with Mancera’s Choco Violette. Quite liked it and wore it to work a few times. One of the girls sniffed the air and asked if anyone could smell biscuits. Not sure I want to smell like a biscuit 🍪 😐

I am super picky about gourmands too. I like sweet elements, but I want them to be grounded. I got a decant of Bianco Latte bc all the fragrance girlies in my groups were raving about it and I absolutely HATED it. Two frags with caramel that I love but which weren’t listed are Sora Dora Broceliande and Penhaligon’s Changing Constance.

I struggle to smell caramel. It's one of my favorite flavors, but i cannot smell much if anything in fragrances like bon bon or prada candy. I can smell it in lacoste pour femme intense and I love that fragrance!

I bought the dupe of BL which people claimed is identical but a lighter version to the OG (Bianco latte) Oh Man I really wanted to like it but there is a saltiness in it that is so off putting.... Not even layering with Choco musk on top didn't help... buyers beware.... On the first days I received Eclaire, I tested and it was weak and days later I decided to wear at work.... but guess at that point it had macerated enough to be noticeable by my coworkers. On my skin smelled okay, but in the air they said it smelled like bacon...😮😢... and they have a point. Fortunately I just sold Eclaire🙌🏼

I love Orchidee rouge its such an intoxicating gorgeous creamy inviting scent but i also love BL and these 2 are nothing alike! Orchidee has gourmand elements, no apricot that would be Ylop which is also amazing, but definitely is a complex fragrance rather than something thst smells edible to me. I'd say Jany is the most edible one from Sora Dora but more of a dessert pastry gourmand

Yep lots of caramel perfumes but bianco latte does it perfect. Simple and high quality and beast mode. No apple pie, no fruit, no citrus, just straight up caramel and Vanilla ice cream and some spice to liven it up.

Gioiosa Parfumum Roma has also been compared to BL even though they have different notes, I don't dislike BL but it didn't make me search immediately for a fb , Gioiosa for the right price 💯👍

I was close to getting burned with Bianco Latte because I trusted the community reviews.. I wanted to blind buy it but my bf talked me out of it. We travelled to the neighbour country to smell it, being sure I will buy it after.. It was not good in my opinion and ended up buying Tonkatonic from Morph instead and Lorenzo Pazzaglia sugar kisses for my niche gourmand fragrances. Never go for blind buys. From GDT I like Borabora better

Bianco Latte only skyrocketed due to hype. I don't think it's a bad scent at all, but it's not a unique or particularly outstanding scent. There are many equally good (if not better) and more affordable versions of that type of scent, just in a less pretty bottle 🙈

I suggest that save your money don’t waste it on dupes or (similar ones) because you will not be satisfied if you already tried SDV and you truly love it, the quality of vanilla here is unbelievably high and the actual scent of vanilla is really different , I just got it two days ago and I fell in love I can’t stop smelling it, btw it was on my wish list for maybe 7 8 years I know it’s so pricey and nothing I mean nothing worth that price tag but sometimes we pay more for something unique and the most important that we are really love it and we gonna use it, so save up and maybe declutter some of your collection and get the real thing 😉

Goutal Nuit et Confidences has a similar vibe, its not a dupe. If you do want a dupe, the Julianna's Perfumes Double Decadence is quite good
