The Wife Approval is really what defines the order of this list, so why don’t you ask someone (your wife perhaps) to rate these cars and reply to this comment with the new order!

A small SUV is nice and practical for a parent with one child. But the minivan hits all of the checkpoints you listed, especially for the wife approval. 🤣 It will be extremely useful when you have more kids. I suggest getting a vehicle that is practical and works for your family. Accessibility is golden in those things. The Toyota Sienna beat all the minivans in reliability, accessibility and practicality.

full size cars like that are great when you have young kids but so are compact and midsize Japanese cars or even something like a mid 80s-late 90s Buick Skylark my late maternal grandmother owned a used 1984 limited hardtop for about 2 yrs. before she bought her first Toyota Camry on presidents day 1990 and had I not been legally blind I'd have probably learned to drive in it in 2001 and learned to drive a manual in an F-150 Pickup truck generally though Luxury cars like the Park Avenue usually 9/10 come equipped with an Automatic transmission where as some other sports cars etc. are split half/half auto/manual like a Ford Mustang for example

The two worst cars I have ever owned were Audi and Mercedes. Never again, thankfully they were both leased and I was able to get rid of them in three years. The best vehicle I own is a 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit Hemi.

I think that most car manufacturers have their share of good vehicles, it’s just that some have more than others. It ranges from brands which you can’t really go wrong with, like Toyota, to the likes of BMW and Audi (or worse). I think generally, the older you go the better when it comes to the German big three. That said, they do have plenty of cars to stay away from for sure. As for the Grand Cherokee, I worked at a local Jeep dealership and the shop was constantly FULL of brand new Grand Cherokees and Wagoneers, some of them getting major work done. I do like them, however the Hemi is the only one I would ever consider buying.

As a chrysler tech that jeep sounds like just as much of a headache as the other two were.

There better be a TSX on here. It’s the same thing as the civic just looks better and has good interior with leather.

i had a 04 TL as my first car when I was 18 and loved it. bought it at 178k but had to scrap it a few years later at 255k due to a bad transmission. It has a timeless interior except for the ancient infotainment screen. beautiful exterior too. that car made me a car guy and I did most of the work on it and made plenty of mistakes but it was a fun time. I highly recommend it.
I had a bugeye wrx and it was the greatest car ive ever owned, it made me giddy whenever i drover it. now i drive a stick shift f150, but it feels like i tried heroin one time and i cant do it anymore

You literally just baited everyone and made yet another, “top first cars/top cars under20k” video on KZbin but names it something else💀 these are all the cars I’ve looked into just for fun as a second beater car except for the Buick and wrangler. I don’t personally like them but that’s just me. I also expected the wife score to be exactly as they went lmao
