Got to see the Beach Boys years ago at the Washington State Fair and John Stamos was their touring drummer then. Great show and fun to see him do his thing. Was lucky enough to have seen Dennis Wilson with the band even earlier. Yeah, I'm old but had a blast at both concerts!

I saw the Beach Boys on a beach in Shediac, NB in 1989 and Stamos was their touring drummer. Everyone over 35 knows he is a drummer too.

I live in a medium size TX town, McLovin’s band strolled through town once maybe 10 years ago and played this dive called AJ’s. The crowd could not have cared less for the band but everyone was getting selfies with him and only referring to him as McLovin. He was not a happy camper

I knew about Stamos and Fred Armisen, and I remembered Rosie O'Donnell played drums when I saw the clip from her old talk show. Armisen was the first drummer of the house band for _Late Night with Seth Myers._ The one that surprised me was Cara Delevingne. That girl can play.

Joseph Gordon Levitt looks like he's still getting the hang of it, and he's on the right track. Noticed he was really tense, with minimal wrist technique, and he sped up and slowed down a few times. His set up was also a bit whack. Lol. I hope he keeps playing though, cause he has potential! We've all been there!

I knew Stamos played. Recognized Chaz singing, Didn't know about Rosie, and I actually know Cara. I had no idea who most of those people were lol. You can add WWE superstar LA Knight to that list, I had him sit in on.a few songs with us, it was his first time on stage playing. He did a great job.

A couple here sound like they need more time behind the kit to understand feel but I was surprised by how many could play like actual drummers especially Jeremy Piven. He was overplaying here but putting that to one side he can definitely play and looks like he understands the concept of independence too. A few Bonham fans too I noticed and not just Bill Burr. Not sure who Fred is but Cookie from the Pistols played more eighth notes so that only really works for The Clash.

I know about Cosby and his drumming. My dad was Connie Kay and one night Bill brought Camille to an MJQ show for her birthday. He asked my dad if he could sit in for 1 tune but my dad said that wasn't going to happen. But the MJQ did perform "Happy Birthday" for Camille.

I remember Bill Burr was blown away by Meshuggah. He went to one of there concerts and his mind was blown by what the drummer Tomas Haake was doing on there song Bleed. Cara D surprised me! Although she put speed ahead of accuracy, I still didn't expect that. Saw her play Sweet Home Alabama intro on guitar flawlessly behind her head once. On Fallon, I think. Bet she comes from a musical family. And McLovin's band had a great vibe! Gotta love drums for their immediacy and addictiveness. There's plenty of math and structure to drumming, but if you are an ADD-type person drums seem less daunting to latch onto. You can nail a basic rock beat within a day or two. (Versus the endless scales and finger strength needed with a stringed instrument)
