You know I feel that Ships will never be accelerated because of the fact that once you unlock them there’s no ship gear levels theres only abilities and CG makes a lot of money on people buying gear to speed up character farms but ships don’t need any gear and I think that’s why they keep it as a non accelerated farm so in order to get it to 7 stars as fast as possible you will need to spend money, it’s quite smart from a business perspective but really annoying to us lmao😂

For early players going for clones, shaak ti is a very worthwhile investment too. Prior to gas, she's going to be a great clone leader, even before you finish farming her up. Then later, once you've replaced her with gas, she becomes an extremely valuable plug and play character in a lot of different teams, galactic republic, jedi, or even just as a universal fast mass cleanser/healer. And no kyrotech on her before g12

Iden is the only thing that kept me afloat in gw pre-85. The bonus turn, the protection up/recovery, and high speed is incredibly survivable across battles

Same here and shes secondary to my troops. Iden, dark, starck, snow, and range are a force with iden giving them retribution and equipped with strong speed mods. Best character in the begginer portion of the game and a good one to have on the sideline after you get veers to 82 and piett to 84. Shes amazing.

For bonus points for iden her node has vulture droid which is a really helpful early game leg up in fleets as the renforcment buzz droids (-150% defence) alongside blind helps out alot. Well at least it was when I first started when IG was still on that node.

A really good early game team is Phoenixes Ezra & Kanan both available from Cantina 2-B Zeb is available in 2 places being Cantina 1-G as a secondary drop alongside Talia and he is available in the Galactic War Shipments (he is best gotten from shipments) Chopper is available from Dark Side 1-D Hard as a secondary drop alongside the Jedi Consular Sabine is available from Dark Side 1-A Hard with her ship as a secondary drop Hera is available from Light side 2-F hard with her ship as a secondary drop All Phoenixes are available in a Journey guide pack as they are required to unlock Thrawn Hara’s leader ability is really good as it grants all of her Phoenix allies unique’s to all of her Phoenix, allies making it so that say Ezra can regain Protection due to Zebs unique and have a 75% counter chance due to Kanans unique while also giving them his unique (only if Hara is the leader) though when say Zeb dies his unique is removed I have yet to mention the main reason why Phoenixes are so good and that is because of Captain Rex who is not in the Journey pack and is only available from Dark Side 3-F Hard (hasn’t yet been accelerated as of writing this) making him the most annoying Phoenix to farm shards The reason Captain Rex is so good is because of his unique ability that let’s him attack out of turn whenever another Clone or Phoenix ally uses a Special ability, when Hera gives this unique to all of her Phoenix allies (including herself) Phoenixes are stupid hard to defeat but as soon as Rex dies you will lose the out of turn attacks, he also works with clones but that isn’t why you should unlock him Phoenixes can be used in 2.5 Journey guides Thrawn requires Phoenixes Palpatine requires Rebels and the Phoenixes are also rebels Grand Master Yoda requires Jedi and the only Phoenixes that are Jedi are Kanan and Ezra (this is where the half a Journey guide comes from) Phoenixes are insane in the early game and Rex Phoenixes (phoenixes with Captain Rex) are one of the best non legendary Commander Luke SkyWalker counters If you stick with them all the way you can use them in the post level 85 section of the game The Phoenix team I use is Hera, Sabine, Ezra, Captain Rex and Kanan (Sometimes I replace Kanan with Zeb) So for this list I would include Captain Rex

have a question too; when I get a character free in the 'card store' thing, it will show a message "You already have this character, so you will get bonus shards". Well, where do they go? I never have found them, and I should have a few hundred I'd think.

They either get added to the character so you can get progress in that characters stars or go to shard shop currency store

Just to double down on your claims: Most of the characters you identified are also crew members for ships, which significantly increases their value. Also, most of those characters are also available through bronzium data cards, which are periodically free and available through relatively otherwise useless (unless you farm datacrons) allied currency.

Range Trooper I would consider another such low-hanging fruit. He is node-farmed, but only a 60 energy node, plus works well at low stars too. Great Plug and Play for any Empire team, excels in both Trooper squads, no kyros, no zetas.

@@CalvinAwesome I have them all farmed, but Nute I have no use for and the insane clone posse are all on that “when I do GAS eventually” plan that keeps getting pushed back. I’m finally doing Malak just because I’d feel silly about having Malgus without having his team and Leviathan is, failing some sort of apocalypse, my next long term project (it’s remarkably light in kyros and JKCK is the guild objective so those are… busy). Would definitely include Geos on this kind of list, for what it’s worth. Great ships and Wat mission is something to get done early in an account’s career. I have them at G12 and they’re pretty useless in K2 except as pilots, but for 0 kyros and one zeta they’ve been an amazing investment. I suppose Nute will be part of the droid raid, though. Draid?

My first thought was that Darth Vader should be on that list, but now i can't remember how fast you can get his shards, is it fleet store or achievements ? Anyway he can be a one man bug exterminator up to low kyber, has a ship and is a very effective at dealing with galactic challenge dot feat, can throw him on any team.

Even if you're not interested in GAC Iden is worth it. Her ship is one of the, if not the best in the game, and part of the fleet that can beat almost all other fleets.
