Great line up as always. However it's missing the Mercedes C63 W204 with its iconic M156 6.2ltr V8. Arguably one of the best super saloons on the market.

Knowing the Lancer also comes with a 2.0 BKD diesel engine from Volkswagen really appeals to me. A highly tunable derv that looks like an Evo. 👀

Should've looked at the discord the Sunday before last, I saw a VXR8 and a B7 RS4 Avant both literally next to eachother on my commute home that afternoon. They are both absolutely amazing cars and I had to do a bit of research on the LS series engines, turns out the VXR8 uses the same engines as the Corvette C6 (base model and Grand Sport) so that's pretty amazing, probably the closest I have ever been to something virtually like a Corvette C6 to be honest. Also I am definitely more of a Subaru fan, gotta love the ol' reliable 2.0 boxer 4 engines though!

Yeah, the LS series is used in the corvette and also modified and used in loads of supercars, particularly in the US. The Hennessey Venom GT, SSC Ultimate Aero and multiple Mosler cars all use them as the platform for their hypercars and I think Koenigsegg may have started off modifying them as well (or maybe it was a Ford V8, can'tremember).

You should have included the bmw 435d 2017 model xdrive and 0 to 60 in 4.7 seconds but in reality I've had mines at 4.5 standard. 40+ mpg always no matter how you drive it and the torque is unreal smokes an m4 off the mark with its xdrive system

The Infiniti Q50 V6 hybrid would be a good contender for this list. 11-20k for a slick 360hp executive saloon that you don't see many of on the road. That said, you do have to deal with Nissan reliability.

I like all these cars, although the vRS isn't what I'd call super, the rest of this list are somewhat lofty company for it! You'd have to be mad to buy a VXR8...I love them. I was meant to have a hot lap in one on Tuesday (just one of those experience day things, got it for a tenner when I got my sister a proper pack of stuff) but they closed the track before we got our go...still waiting for a refund. Saw a last gen Quattroporte earlier, they still look pretty sexy and I wouldn't mind the V8 if it was 20% smaller and 100% more reliable. The only 2 cars on this list I wouldn't want even ignoring running costs are the CLA45 and M5. I just can't get excited by either (M5 I could until I drove the M6 and hated it). Used to be Team Subaru all the way and I still prefer that uneven header sound by far, but I'd take an Evo X over any Scooby. My favourite super saloon is tough, either a GSF or Giulia QV probably. Wouldn't mind a Ghibli Trofeo either.
