Its by far the greatest and most beautiful FM album! New boy Danny Kirwan proved not to be only a great guitarplayer but also a wonderful songwriter and singer. Peter Green also let him write eight of the albums forteen songs. Add to that Danny was still a teenager when he joined Mac a year before.

I would add Queen II to this list. Queen didn’t hit their stride until their 3rd album, Sheer Heart Attack, and then became superstars, but those who eventually listen to their albums prior, especially Queen II, eventually come to realize that that is a perfect album and it’s a lot of Queen fans favorite album, including me. Not to mention the iconic album cover.

Badfinger is in a whole different area code than these other bands, with the exception of Raspberries ... Badfinger and Raspberries did have top ten and maybe even No. 1 chart success. Just not enough of it ... BTW, as long as we have the Nice and Keith Emerson, I'd also include King Crimson and Greg Lake ...

I didn't think Satanic Majesties Request was that bad. The thing was not everyone in '67 was on board with the psychedelic thing, some people still prefered the blues orientated rock that bands like the stones were famous for. The Stones didn't exactly do well with the single We Love You either.

Replace the insipid "Sing This All Together (See What Happens)" with "We Love You" and the Stones (especially with the creative contributions made by Brian Jones whose unique efforts are numerous) turn this overlooked album into a Psychedelic Masterpiece.
