Since i discovered clone houses, I'm not wasting money on designer and niche brands. Their prices are unjustified, no fragrance in this world should be higher than 200 bucks, it's just a fragrance after all.

I agree but some designer brands are masterpieces with the opening, dry down, performance, projection, silage and quality oils. Most of the clones might smell similar but can’t compare to the quality. Hopefully losing business to clones might make them lower their prices

​@raymondkelley6163 for me, things like asad and sauvage elixir(i own both): they are like 80% similar, maybe 85. Savage elixir smells way more smooth, asad is much more sharp and you can really pick out individual chemicals (its not as well blended) Sauvage elixir also has this greenness/ barbershop quality that asad is missing. To me sauvage elixir is much better. I find its rare that clones are actually better than the original in terms of quality.

some niche cannot be cloned or the clones are bad, like some xerjoff fragrances: golden dallah, ivory route, richwood and so on. some amouage and nassomato dont have clones or clones are bad and some house dont even have clones and are my favorite like prada lhomme intense, nishane b612, or V canto fragrances. cut corners where you can, like for liam gray, but you cant always do it. i say combine clones and some expensive high quality frags as well such as xerjoff in your wardrobe

Lattafa Liam is absurdly good...I get multiple compliments wearing it, even if you spray 3-4 spray after showering, and 1 hour later you stay at 1 place for 5 minutes, it fills that room!

@@Baraka_Obama_ I personally think it’s more of a cooler weather scent that can be worn dressed up or casual. Probably preferably towards the evening, but it’s subtle enough that I think you can wear it anytime of the day. Where I live, most summer days are 90°F+ but we had rain come through that brought the weather down to low 80’s with clouds and I wore it then to a formal meeting. I’ve also worn it casually around the house. The only place I think it could get annoying would be in high heat where the sweetness would be amplified and could be cloying and/or annoying.

my guess is Blue elecdtrique was more a social media influencer hyped fragrance more than a mainstream popular fragrance that had a ton of sales. Like youtubers hate Myslf but it sells massively to the public.

About 2 weeks ago, I picked up a bottle of Exclusif Tabac by Maison Alhambra. The first sprays were amazing, but I'm also gonna try leaning into the superstition surrounding clones and sitting with some oxygen in the bottle to see if it will be even better by fall. What I REALLY want to see cloned right now is One Million Cologne. They gave me a few sample vials of One Million Cologne with my bottle of Exclusif Tabac, and I was so bummed out because it smells incredible and is discontinued ☹️

Loved my Grandeur Iconic Nuit, Avenue London, and Vintage Radio samples. Going to get full bottles of them soon. I went with Al Nashama Caprice over Iconic Nuit, was able to get it cheaper and it smells similar. Might spring for Al Nashama over VR, and probably pick up Avenue London when my BR540 runs out just to change it up a little.

Maturation is to get older which is what happens to the fragrance. Maceration is something entirely different which has no use when talking fragrances. Whoever started saying maceration clearly just mispronounced it. Stop asking this and google it if you don't believe me. 🤡🤡🤡

For me the opening and dry down of Al Nashama is more appropriate in warm weather. Not necessarily better, but maybe more refined than Vintage Radio.

Gensents, love the content!!!!! Can you do a video on a fragrance that blew me away. It was called Midnight in Dubai. The fragrance was complex, sweet and aromatic. The store dealer sprayed it on my arm and it was there the next day unbelievable lasting power.
