Thanks a lot. All of them made sense.Hopefully no-one will make waves, coming across these collocations. It is no less than making money to learn them. It won't be good to make light of those who make a mistake while using them. I am sure their appropriate usage would rock the boat.

Hi,Adam! Thanks for your lesson,very helpful) I have one question? Is it better to use “ensure” or “make sure” in your personal statement? Sentence:....to make sure/ensure that workers are provided with necessary skills to succeed?

Hi! Is it acceptable to use these collocations ( make ends meet..) in academic essays? Or just in speaking tests?
@MiguelMGraziottin6 жыл бұрын
One question. Are this kind of collocations suitable for the Academic writing ELTS test? Or more appropriate for the speaking test?Thanks

Kindly tell me the following sentence is grammatically correct? My company has to develop this software in a specific time frame; failing that, the revenue generation and reputation of my organisation may suffer which is of paramount importance for me.

11:10 Why do you have such a weird (paradoxical) phrase like "a little bit too much"? "A little" and "too" at the same time? How come?

Although I strongly believe that you are correct, but many times I've heard "I do my the best" instead of "I make my the best". Are both forms are correct?
@tianzhongmiao70756 жыл бұрын
It depends on who you heard it from. “I make my best” for sure is wrong.
