IT WAS YOU AND YOUR STORY of finding what was missing in your life that taught me about a GENERAL CONFESSION. I was 67 and a faithful catholic all my life and did not know about a general confession. I think it was the hardest thing I have ever done !!!!! I prepared with the ten commandments and the seven deadly sins of emotions but father it took me even longer to find a priest to hear my confession for I was told that general confessions are for the dying .. I drove 60 miles to make this special confession and felt like I just received the most important sacrament of my life.. as I walked out the bells of the church were ringing and my feet never touched the ground truly the most rewarding event of my life and Father I was transformed by your mass explanation and am ON FIRE FOR THE EUCHARIST.. I break down in tears especially if I gifted with a piece of the consecrated host. I can not begin to tell you the effects you have had on my faith. I grow stronger thanks to YOU.. God picked a WARRIOR.

God is answering my prayer through you. Was it too much of me to ask God for every priest to be doing what you are doing? There may be others, of course. Were it not for your online service, I wouldn't have known of you. So, thanks be to God for that technology as well. So, thanks be to God for you. Please stay the course. Our souls depend on solid food from a bona fide ecclesiastical authority, because the laity doesn't have that power and we need to be fed from such an authority for the truth to be binding.

WOW! Fr. Chris! My gosh, I wish I lived closer to you so I might be able to discuss SO MANY things you covered in this topic. I was glued to every word and found my self tearing up from guilt, at so many points of this talk. Ugh! I am trying SO HARD to be a good Catholic but with your teachings, I am realizing just how much I never knew was considered "grave sins". I go to confession once a month but after THIS I need to LITERALLY make a list and go sooner!! Thank you, Fr. Alar, you are one of few priests that clarifies a lot of the doubts that anyone can have regarding certain sins. You remind me of the missions that I have attended to when missionaries come to our church. It is deep teachings of our catholic religion and not just scraping the top. Well that helped a lot. For years I was raised a Baptist and for some reason I never liked or understood what was being taught or shown. So I never took my children to church. Ok, maybe on Christmas or Easter and that felt wrong to do that. Needless to say, I was completely turned off by church and the pasters. The pasters and their teachings never matched what the Bible said. For the first time in 40 years I have been taught what church is about and what it stands for in 1.5 hours! This in no way answers all my questions but, now I feel like I could fill in the holes with your videos and find what I need. Thank you for your time by putting out the videos. They are need now more than ever.
