I was finally able to get someone to talk to me from the ministry of trade 1d1f dept after several weeks of me being ignored by no less than 3 persons working there.im now outside Ghana where I started 2 projects and could not complete them though they reached 80%. only to be told that the 1d1f policy is only to subsidize interest rates of loans given by the banks which very hardly give loans .so it's a deception .bug one

Thanks for the insight, Ghanaian TV stations should be learning from this. Journalism is not all about reporting only the ills in the Country but some of this reportage helps project the image of the country to attract more of such investments. Countries like the US have their own challenges but they project more of the positives. Keep up with your Good works.

For lack of knowledge n foresight my people perish. Instead of us to encourage indigenous Ghanaians to be innovative and hard working, some tv stations will give airtime to some self acclaimed journalists to throw dust into the eyes of people in the name of politics. God bless Ghana.

I really get sick when such people cast a doubt on this policy just for political sake. Enough of the pessimism. Just go and read the policy. It's both green( new) and brown ( existing ) factories. Big shame on all naysayers.

Do you interprete "10 of the best" of factories to mean there are only 10 factories? Where you also promised 100+ factories within a 6 years or at the end of his term. Let's be realistic. When a policy is bad let's talk and when it's good, let's support it.

You forgot this government have had 3yrs of implementation of their policies. The rest of npp government 2 years out 5yrs have been hampered by covid pandemic and lately the invading war in Ukraine, which have increased fuel prices. Remember ghana was in dumsor era for 4yrs which collapsed lots of small and medium sized businesses, unpaid public workers salaries and just 3yrs for npp government in power to fix the economy then they encounter this covid and war situation. Because of politics some Ghanaians will say anything because they don't belong the party in power at the end of the day.
