5:22 the top notes of Kenzo is nauseating and lit stays there for a very long time. I had to give the bottle away. I regret didn't purchase the Marine flanker.

In the Navy I find is the most underrated in the Le Male line. In the summer it's just always reliable and gotten a few compliments with it to boot. That freshness helps to tone down the syrupy sweet from the Le Male DNA.

@@maximillianusforrest If you don't like sweet, it could be (it's still Le Male) but it's definitely more aquatic and green and less all-out vanilla sweetness. I'd say it's along the lines of Le Beau EDT just with mint and vanilla instead of coconut.

You mention "when the cucumber hits you in the face" has taken a twist for me. 2 years ago my wife's C19 reaction was a permanent hate for cucumber and melon. I had to take some fragrances to my office drawer to not be in my house. Sad that it was a permanent reaction for her...and thus what I can wear.

I have a few of these, Polo Blue Gold Blend is one I just assumed fell out of favor, but I really like it. Funny thing about that A&F First Instinct, I have a friend that I've given like half a dozen fragrances to over the years to kick start his collection, and he swears up and down that it's his favorite, even over the expensive stuff. I've been meaning to get that In The Navy for a while, but I never quite see it for a price I want to pay. Eventually I'll get it though.

Kenzo Homme represents the line well. It's slightly spicy and marine, stays close to skin after a few minutes, but intriguing enough to respray over the day. Funny zebra brush top on the bottle.

I'm going to make a guess on the reason why mugler doesn't make colognes for the men anymore but has stuck with the women's perfumes and it's probably got something to do with the death of Thierry Mugler... I mean it just seems like ever since he passed away they just really stopped making the men's fragrances 🤷 And my scent of the day is Terre D Hermes eau givree, what a great fragrance and for a freshy it lasts a long time on my skin and on clothes...💯💯💯
