Yaay I love this house! Im wearing la fin du monde a lot at the moment, and my first from the house was Rien which is on my top 5 frags for life! Its a very exciting house, I love that they don't follow the crowd in terms of trendy notes, one of the only houses I really take notice of! So pleased Dahlia is joining you for this video! The spice must flow is definitely from Dune - it’s my favorite series of all time ❤ I have all the books (and multiple copies of the original in different languages). It makes me want to try that perfume!!!

The spice is described in Dune as having a cinnamon scent, but there's none in the fragrance! So disappointing.

I just had the chance to smell some of these while visiting my son in Estonia. The most wonderful niche perfume store was a block away from my hotel and it had the best selection of anywhere I'd been! We all loved You Or Someone Like You, especially my son. I love the packaging too.

Hi Sebastian. Within the past few weeks, I added ELDO "Attaquer le Soleil" to my collection. I like it a lot. I don't consider it to be a church incense fragrance. Instead, I find it to be similar to Amouage "Fate Man". If you haven't tried it yet, I hope you get to try it. So far, "Attaquer le Soleil" is my favorite from ELDO.

I love ELDO. There are so many that I still have yet to try, though. I really need to get my nose on both Rien versions, though I think I'll prefer Intense Incense. My faves so far are Experimentum Crucis, Hermann a Mes Cotes, Frustration, and You or Someone Like You.

I own 500 years. It was a blind buy I was not impressed especially for the Price. It's nothing I haven't smelt before- a classic woody Rose ensemble. Moderate Sillage too. Never again. Spice Must Flow looks promising.

I love I am Trash. Secretions is a great layering scent. It makes everything sexier. One sprits turns the cleanest scent slightly dirty. My first favourite scent from them was Jasmin et Cigarette. They offer a small bottle but the brand is very affordable nevertheless.

Ghost in a Shell inspired by the character, Makoto Kusanagi. There is a live version of it. I love Afternoon of a Faun, my first and only ELDO but want to buy more. Interested in Hermann, Putain d Palaces, Fat Electrician, and Experimentum Crucis, and Spices must Flow.

Great review. The only one from the house that I’ve tried is Fat Electrician and it’s the only perfume sample I’ve ever thrown out 😂 Expected to like it as I like both gourmands and vetiver but it has a grease or oil note that i just couldn’t get on with. I applaud their originality though

Great house. Me and my wife have You Or Someone Like You and Hermann. My wife loves both, I love the 1st and like the 2nd. Hermann is a bit too incensy to my nose and I get no wet soil feel. A similar frag that love tho, and that I know that you also like, is 4711 Acqua Colonia Intense Wakening Woods Of Scandinavia that has the fir note that elevates the whole composition. Also rosy and incensy, but coniferous and aromatic. Fantastic! Cheers!

You mentioned Kouros. I JUST got my very first sniff of Kouros in a duty-free last week. Sniffed it with trepidation expecting to be disgusted because of things I've heard, with so many online reviewers referring to its stinkiness. Well, I was shocked. Total love at first sniff. I mean, really. Wow. I want it. Didn't get it just then (budget concerns, you know how it is), but it's immutably on my mental to-get list. Just a must in my humble fragrance "palette."

Rien (the original) should've been called Tom of Finland! It's got that raunchy, smoky, sweaty leather that fits the Tom of Finland drawings imo.

how is the sillage and projection of Archives 69? I got Rien and Enfant. the former has a moderate projection but the latter rather poor. Rien also gives me an opening of black soap, that we used to usee here in the post-soviet area.
