“Hedgehog Roll” should be an honorable mention. A lovely and fun family game to play with smaller kids (4-5yrs) with an autumn theme! 🍂🦔🍁🍏🍄 Other than that, “Everdell” is very cosy and the seasons end in autumn.

FAVORITE BOARD GAME BUZZZ TOP TEN LIST EVER!!! Fall is my absolute favorite time of year, so naturally I'm obsessed with all these games you've chosen. But the stinking cutest games on the list have to be Hickory Dickory and Creature Comforts. Holy hot apple cider I NEED those games!!! And how beautiful is the cover art for Sequoia? The Halloween version of Patchwork should also adorn my board game shelves. I can't believe I've never seen that one. I also love the idea behind Bosk, and what a great name for a game. It means a thicket or small wood. Isn't that cool? My grandson is the cutest Spiderman EVER. Great video kiddo. I love that my passion for the Fall wore off on you. I guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. 🍎🍏

8:53 That's why I like Calico! 😉 Because it is very constraining - and challenging... But also because it holds your hand/guides you with the scoring tiles. That is why I like it more than Cascadia, which you figure is easy-going - but it forces you to pick your (region) tile and (animal) token, but doesn't help you out as much - it is more of "do whatever you want to" - type of a sandbox, which I don't do as well with.

Lovely video! Parks is a great game. I'd love to play Honey Buzz too, but I've sunk almost 200 bucks into that campaign and now wondering if I'm ever going to see it. Not a word from the company in over a month and the game is almost a year late. Not your fault, and I'm sure you weren't trying to incite anything. Just a shame. Love the Spiderman!

This is such a good video, and I love the decorations on the shelves! 🍁🍂 there are some really stories behind the games, such as with Creature Comforts (I should really buy this, by the way!) that makes me a think a good video could be your favourite boardgame theme/narrative. Not in a boardgame mechanic sense, but simply 'the story behind this game is...' which I think could be fun! A recommendation for a cozy game for fall would be "Bears and Bees" by Grandpa Beck. We bought this recently, and it's such a cozy, fun, and deceivingly strategic game with great artwork! We play it as a two, but it's up to 5 players, and it's such a good game. 😃 Keep up the great videos! This has become one of my favourite KZbin channels for boardgames, I love it, thanks for the hard work! 😃

Great video. Creature Comforts would also my #1 pick. Love the solo mode/solo results as well. I could agree on Viticulture. But for similar reasons then I would miss Everdell on your list. What is the ultimate last season before the end of the game and scoring?! Have to get some of these games out here - even though we have Spring where I live.

15:38 Wow! I am surprised that you consider Parks a "comfort" game. I like Parks, too! But I find it a very tight and cutthroat (especially with the element of whoever had the camera gets points for that v round... Maybe it had to do with the fact that I was playing it as a 2-player game - which means that not only by letting your opponent have/keep the camera are you letting them get points - but that is also a missed opportunity for you to get points, if you took the camera from him/her. Therefore, I was always checking down every once in a while to make sure that I took the camera from my opponent, even if I lost it the next turn [my opponent is an amateur photography and so is therefore obsessed with having the camera]) game. Do you not see/consider it as cutthroat - and to you, can it be both cutthroat and a "comfort game"?

And Arboretum is also quite a cutthroat game! Because of you don't have the highest values of a particular tree left in your hand at the end - then guess what, you won't be scoring that tree, even after you spent the entire game carefully laying out your paths.
