Man, the coffee in that cup at the beginning is making me anxious. It's constantly so close to spilling out as you're talking. But on topic, I completely agree about the farming aspect in cozy games. I LOVE Stardew Valley. I have hundreds of hours in it. But the farming is the least interesting aspect of it. I really just want to develop relationships with all the villagers and learn their stories.

You're making me want to play Stardew now. I honestly couldn't get into it because of the farming 😔

@@hercozygaming I honestly think if you really wanted to, you could get through most of the game with very little farming. It's kind of built so you can play however you want to, with lots of different goals you can work toward depending on what actually interests you. For me, what I cared about was getting to know all the villagers. They all have their own stories and struggles, and you slowly build friendships with them and ultimately help them through things. Even the characters that come off as rude at first, you get to find out what makes them that way, and they warm up to you. You build friendships through talking to them and giving them gifts they like, so progression would be slower for villagers who "love" certain farmed items or recipes, but you could totally get through the best parts of the game without farming. :)

Recommendation for plant lovers who just want a cozy idle game: Plant Therapy. It's on Steam and the base game is free, and you can buy and decorate your space with as many potted plants as you like. Very minimal in game mechanics, and there's a mode where you can turn all that off and just enjoy your plants.

From the devs: "Gris is pronounced as 'grease,' and is the Spanish word for "grey." I also love the fact that "Neva" is the Spanish word for "snow."
