That HF-11 is insane and as a gear head my interest in finding out how exactly they engineered that swap system is something I'll prolly obsess over until I finally get those juicy details.

The guy in the 4g63 911 lives near me, that car sounds insane in person.

5:45 I’m guessing it’s 170mph not 270. That would be absolutely insane let alone being able to do it in a mile.

Why is it so unbelievable lol a CALLAWAY CORVETTE IN THE 80's held the fastest consumer available road legal car till the Mclaren F1 BUT vette is 1/15th the price.

Fact is, such a vehicle has no resale value. If you cut up a car, you should plan on keeping it as you will not recoup the cost of the swap.

Getting out the money put in isn’t unique to engine swapped cars. Internet and social media have made the sting less severe broadly expanding the size of the market. Sites like Cars and Bids and Bring a Trailer have made it easier for enthusiasts to find these types of cars.

It depends on who does it. If the car is made by a shop like Smoky Nagata's Top Secret or RWB they definetly gain value. And you dont want to know what the Lazante one would cost if you even could buy one. Many production restomods are also really pricey.
@Skubasteph2 ай бұрын
not true at all and just because your swapping a motor doesn't always mean you have to cut it up. it all depends if it done right or not. a 240sx with a 2jz is going to cost more than a 240sx with a KA. same thing with ls swaps. its called a resto mod. they sell for alot of money. people pay 100 of thousand of dollars to build resto mods.

@@Skubasteph LOL. You obviously know very little about resale value of modified cars. Thanks for sharing your ignorance old bean.
