As a hunter i spend countless hours in the forests , my father is a hunter since 1980s and my grandpa was in the business until he passed away.We never saw, heard or felt something unusual or paranormal even within the depths of the darkest mountain forests in the middle of the night.

I have a confession, went deer hunting like back in 1988 found a place to sit it had snowed the night before. I got real comfy and fell asleep when I awoke there were deer tracks all around me I mean they came right up to me. they probably huddled up and said... "HA this one is sleeping lets walk around her get as close as you can but be careful don't wake her. ..LOL When I awoke I was laying on the ground gun next to me. LOL.. 😂😂😂😂😂

Over my past experience I’ve had strange encounters while out in the woods. As morning broke on a cool fall day I had prepared for a partridge hunt. I packed up my truck for a day hunt and headed to my destination which was about an hour drive from the nearest highway and about 3 mile drive into the woods. I finally arrived about 8am grabbed my gear which consisted of a trusty over under double barrel shotgun, a canteen of water, compass, map, hunting knife, flashlight, phone and and about a days worth of food and snacks and 357 revolver as a backup with maybe 12 rounds total. I had also brought about 20 shells of bird shot and backup 6 rounds of slugs. As any good hunter I had mapped out a backup location if SHTF like my truck breaking down, it was a fire tower that at this time of year was not being used. I set off my way into the woods walking long abandoned logging trails. About 3 hrs into my hunt I had come across the strangest thing I had encountered in the woods. A staircase in a field almost 15 miles from the nearest cabin out here and pristine condition. As curiosity gets the best of us especially when your barely 21 years old I decided to walk up this strange staircase. The moment I step foot on it I felt immediately light headed and passed out. I woke up to hours later the staircase gone but with everything around eerily quiet checking my watch the time read about 7pm it and the sun was creating its way down in the horizon. I figured I still had time to make it back to the truck and make it back to the cabin but I also found this strange sense that I was not alone out here. Feeling very aware at this moment I listened to the woods and felt my skin crawl as I heard low growling coming about 30 yards away. With the occasional sound of something walking slowly in my direction. Not exactly wanting to run away I fired a warning shot after which whatever it was seemed to head away from my direction but I soon learned that it was not me that it was stalking but that it was standing it’s ground for something worse. I have felt greater fear than when 15 yards begging something worse let out worse blood freezing scream that still haunts me. I turned around to see something as big as a bear that charging me. With little time to react I fired my other into it to my surprise it slapped the shotgun right from my hands causing me fall down, out of pure reflex I pulled the revolver and fired 3 shots into it and to my surprise it fled the area. I quickly got up located my double barrel loaded two slugs, and headed to the fire tower as whatever it was had ran the same direction as my truck. As ran at a solid pace I thought to myself at what king of animal doesn’t go down to three .357 rounds. Not wanting to know I ran the one and a half miles to the fire tower and climbed up it as fast as I could. Not feeling at all safe until I had shut and locked the trap door to the observation deck and was securely inside the tower. I then called to my parents about what happened and that I will be staying at the fire tower until next morning. And requested my father and uncle come out here the next day to walk out as a group, I also told them to bring their rifles with them. That night I woke to the sound of similar screaming out in the woods right below the tower. I peaked over the edge to see bright yellow eyes below looking straight at me as though it could see right through believing it to be the same thing that attacked I fired three more shots of the revolver down ran back into the tower again locking the inner tower and waiting shotgun trained on the door and back against a wall until dawn. That morning both my father and uncle showed up escorted me out of there. To this day I do not know what it was that attacked and have yet to return to that area of woods.

My grandpa used to be best friends with a hunter. He had lots of stories to tell, he was a very animated and excitable man, but when I would ask about scary stories he would go completely silent and become very serious. After a while I stopped asking, but I'll never stop wondering what he was thinking about.

I use to hunt until one day that made me never want to go into the Bush again.it was early morning, still dark,my dad shot something but it ran away.we heard it crashing around just inside the tree line so my dad sent me into the Bush a few yards behind where he thought it was hoping I would scare it out into the clearing where he was waiting.i was only a few feet into the Bush when I stopped to listen,it was dead quiet for a few seconds. As I saw something out of the corner of my eye I slowly turned to look but at first all I could see was a thick bushy tree which I couldn't see through and as I looked up about 10 feet off the ground I could see steam coming through the branches of the tree that I was right in front of.There is big game where we were but nothing big enough to that would stand tall enough to have the steam from it's breath be that high.i thought probably a bear standing on hind legs could be that tall but it wasn't a bear my dad shot and bears run from the kind of loud commotion we were causing.all these thoughts took maybe a couple seconds ,then I was forced out of the trance of trying to figure out what this could be by a exhale of breath accompanied by a grunting growl that I still can't place to any living thing I know exists today. At the same instant I heard the growl the tree that was in front of me that I saw the steamy breath coming through shook so violently I knew that whatever was behind that tree was using the tree to push off of as it fled away from me back into the Bush. The only thing I can think of that would make a tree of that size move like the one I saw that morning hunt would be only equal to a pick-up truck hitting it at 40 mph. this happened over 20 years ago but this event has not faded in my memory at all and I know it never will mostly for the last thing I heard as whatever it was made as it retreated into the Bush.I only heard 3 loud crunches, the first was about 30 feet away,2nd was about 80feet further away and the 3rd was over 140 feet further than that.No I am not saying I'm positive of these distances but it's the best I can do to explain as accurately as possible what I heard.what or how could anything move through thick dense Bush going uphill like that with only making 3 definite steps that far apart?I haven't gone hunting or camping since.Carefull if your out in the area of Williams lake B.C Canada.

What is it about Some people who have this love for killing and seeing things die and the urge to see the life hemorrhage out of innocent Animals? that's very abnormal. it's 1 thing to kill to eat for survival, but to have a blood lust and strong desire to kill a living thing just for the fun of it is Very Sick and psychologically damaged. it's in all honesty rabid and beastly.

@@Salty_elf For sport.. you don't find that to be a bit barbaric? not trying to be facetious, But the thought of killing something, a living being simply for fun or sport. Like personally, I can maybe do it if society collapsed and i was starving and my life depended on it, and i know i still would be very difficult knowing i took another being's life. but it's a very foreign thought for me to think of killing something simply for the pleasure of seeing it die. But out of curiosity, Do you remember the 1st time you killed something hunting? and how did you feel about it if you can remember?

I love the sounds along with the video I just think the magpies just over do it. Where I live they are super common and you can hear them early in the am when your trying to sleep. Otherwise fantastic content as usual ❤️

Those bird sounds are EXACTLY the same as the ones I used to hear down in Texas where I lived as a kid and that adds a level of creepiness that scares me more than these stories usually do
