I love maxing the setting but for anyone considering doing this just know it does effect your gameplay, I just went from all max to 4:30 1280 and I’m hitting flicks and one deags wayyy more then previously, also gives you a kind of a cool nostalgic feel too

the most annoying the for me at the moment is the water on ancient, destroying my fps and already losing me a round when ts where rotating over t spawn. when someone runsninfront if me throigh water is lose like 150fps from stable 250 frames....

Shadows and ambient occlusion are definitely important. I run AMD so I don't have an option regarding low latency. I don't know if there exists an alternative but I imagine it's not a super big deal breaker.

I don't know what the "Max" thing on telemetry. Sometimes it is 5ms and sometimes it goes to 15ms. 🤷🏻

The ms tell u the "travel-time" from input of ur gear into the game. If u have an average of 10-15ms then u need to fix something. The ms should be around 3-8ms for a good feeling imo. If u have only spikes to 15ms it doesn't matter when the average is around of 5 ms

If 2ms is average u should be fine. Mine is around 3-8ms. 2ms sounds very nice 👍

@@JoanVA4750 The average is, as suggested, the average. The max is when something spike and reach that number. Like you have 200 fps average but sometimes it jitter to say 100 fps, that's the max (latency).

#4 1:31 keep in mind that resolution matters. if you play on 1440p or even 4k, you barely need AA. especially for 4k, 2x should be the absolute max, anything higher is just wasted resources.

Ironically, I only notice the difference between MSAA 2x and MSAA 4X when running my monitor at its native 1440p - anything below that is slightly blurry, due to it being a non-native resolution, and the difference isn't even visible. I know what you're saying, but it really depends on a case by case basis, it isn't as simple as "you need it if your res is low".

@@MrChris00078 I think you misunderstood what I meant. When I say a lower resolution I actually mean a different monitor with a lower NATIVE resolution. Of course using 1440p or less on a 4k monitor will add blurry pixels since it's using interpolation. But generally speaking you only need higher AA for lower PPI monitors. Let's say I run a game native on my 27" 4k monitor which has a 160ppi, the pixels are so tiny that edges look clean even without any AA in many cases, however doing the same on a 27" 1080p monitor (which is 80ppi) it would be very obvious since the individual pixels are 4 times the surface. In that case 4x MSAA is usually the go-to option, or even 8x if you got enough power.

@@-eMpTy- the reason they don't use it is because they already have super high end PCs with the newest and fastest hardware. Basically just a X3D Processor lets you have a bazillion FPS so that you don't need the NVIDIA boost as well

@@nergal2741 Reflex and reflex + boost are two different settings, but my point is true for both. And neither increase fps btw. Please read what reflex actually does.
