Those Yamahas are the best. My Yamahas always treated me great. Had a brand new Mercury 250 and twin Force 125s before that and they lasted 1 season max. I have friends with all types of outboards and inboard 454s, all types of diesels, never have a single issue and we are talking 10,000 hard hours here not a single season like Mercury. Some friends had problems but it was never the engines fault but more like faults with having bad fiberglass gas tanks and using ethanol, or losing a prop for forgetting to put the clip in after changing the props, (they actually made it offshore and only lost the prop once they put the outboard in reverse to anchor LOL), adding gasoline into the hull through the fishing poll holder and straight into the hull instead of the gas tank, getting hit by a 14 year old on a rented jet ski in a no wake zone, getting hit by a sailboat in a no wake zone, oh and lots not forget of the ppl and Tow U.S towing ppl with Mercury's in all the time.

Got to tell you that you threw away the best fried fish and fish baits known to Bahamians called the barracuda! It taste delicious and is an excellent bait for all fish types especially deep drop! Try it nest time and thank me later! Love seeing you guys in my Countries water enjoying yourselves!
