They're main concern is quota over passionate knowledge and experience. I've been going to the same Macy's for years, enough to be recognized, and they always B line me to whatever is on display before they allow me to ask for the 5-15 test strips I always end up doing. So far, the only time that b-line worked was for Dior Sauvage Elixir.

You are spot on. Macy's salespeople have actually given me the wrong fragrance on more than one occasion. I think I tried to buy Boss Bottled EDP and the gave me BB Intense or some other flanker. Had no idea what they were doing. So frustrating!

Mercedes-Benz Club Black is worth every penny, I have Spicebomb Extreme and Armani Code Absolu, all “vanilla bombs” and I’m taking Club Black every time (yup I said it), for me it’s a better smelling vanilla and cost is about half of the other 2 👍🏻

Pulse of the Night is still readily available in our discount drugstore type shops here in the UK although it is priced a lot higher than the other more common Issey Miyake fragrances it sits next to on the shelf (Pulse is about £40 Uk, many others around £20-30). Finished my Wanted By Night - should have grabbed some more in last years xmas sales but it’s still cheap here and always gets compliments - a ‘dumb reach’ for the colder months for sure.

Encre Noir isn't that big of a projector, and in an air-conditioned environment like a plane I think it would be okay. It's also about 50% Iso-E-Super so people tend to find it pleasant enough even though it's different

Mercedes Benz Cologne is sold out on every UK website. Only place I can get it is eBay (and it's nowhere near as cheap as low 40s for 120ml, it's over £60). Luckily, I have most of my 75ml of Dior Homme Cologne and a 120ml Zara Vibrant Leather Summer, but it is still quite tempting to get a 40ml just to see how it compares.

The only frangraces I feel that they're worth every penny are: Hugo boss number 1. CK be. Sauvage ADT. Justin Timberlake play which was discontinued. New west by which was also discontinued These frangraces smell fantastic and are a confidence booster, as well as they have very distinct characteristics. In our days fragrance companies lack creativity which is why they smell similar because of cloning and using the same type of ingredients to make a fragrance, which makes them predictable.

I've never tried Gucci intense oud but I have tried Versace oud noir and while it's not bad I didn't like it compared to some of the other oud colognes. How's the Gucci intense oud? They don't even have any in the stores near me.

Pasha de Cartier parfum's drydown I find quite related to the drydown of Elixir, in fact I find it slightly fresher and more refined. Also incredibly long lasting at least on my skin. It's pretty much half the price of Elixir

Awesome to see L'Occitane Eau des Baux and Mercedes Benz Cologne featured here, both definitely worth every penny indeed. Odd not to see them pop up more often in KZbin. To this list I'd add Mugler Cologne, and Zara Warm Black (the original in the black bottle at least; haven't smelled the new one in the amber bottle.) PS. imho Eau des Baux layers very well with Reminiscence Patchouli, kind of 4 sprays of Eau des Baux for one of the Patchouli. Awesome!

Then I own three Ferraris (Uomo, Bright Neroli and Scuderia Forte) and a Mercedes-Benz (Club Black...) I know Fahrenheit Le Parfum is hard to find a clone of. The closest I ended up finding is USA inspired Fragrance Degree. Smells a little more leathery than Farhenheit Le Parfum does.
