I am a huge fan of the fake laugh. You start to laugh even though it is fake. If you do this for a few minutes invariably you start to laugh for real. I have MS and in a wheelchair, sometimes i get a little be down in myself hence the fake laugh really does work. I laugh so much i have tears rolling down my face and i feel a million times better in my self.

Thanks again for another great video! I have used Estee Lauder Night Repair Serum night and day since my early twenties which was recommended by my elegant French beauty consultant named Nadia who became my beauty mentor until she retired in her 70's. She also told me to use SPF even on my hands, don't neglect my neck and decollette, don't smoke, drink lots of water and never sleep in makeup. I even use ladies driving gloves that I purchase off Amazon. Castor oil is great for eyebrows, eyelashes and hair. Eyelash primer under mascara makes a difference too. Rosehip oil is great for fading any spots and argon oil is an all purpose oil that I cannot be without. I also use good quality marine collagen powder daily which helps skin, hair, nails and even blood vessels. Using a water pik for years and Crest gum Detoxify toothpaste has also been beneficial for my oral health. At nearly 60 I am embracing my age and not concerned at all about the unrealistic beauty standards of Hollywood and social media. Animal rescue is my passion and purpose. It can be extremely stressful and heartbreaking sometimes but to me there is nothing better than saving lives.

Hi Frederique .... in connection with hair loss and other phenomena that exist between 40 and 55 my girlfriend wrote a book. And she says you have to check the thyroid T3. It's something that doctors don't check ... they do check the thyroid and then it seems all okay. Once low T3 we have obesity skin problems with strong hair loss and other hard phenomena. Sometimes it is important to know what the problem is within our body and then the solution is more significant. ❤🌺❤

Getting rest and exercise makes cheeks rosey.Hydration and natural foods . Gentle exfoliation and less is more for me. Never have worn makeup so I spent most time outside and got dark so makeup didn’t play into my routine. I’m older now so I try to be gentle with my skin. Aging can bring us down with certain ailments causing stress and shows when we can’t rise above negativity. Been there and done that. For me and my arthritis, fibromyalgia joint replacements I fight for weight loss and mobility and lately very successful with the intermittent fasting. Dr. Barbara McNeil on KZbin is saving lives and it’s free to watch. Please do. Deep breaths and living in the moment , Laughing. and swimming helps more than a little bit! Positive video Frédérique and I loved the sensitivity and emotional connection you inspire. That is beautiful. Hoping you feel awesome and in days to come. I’m going to get some of the serums you recommended. If I can work a little makeup magic on occasion it’s worth a try. Everyone keep moving forward and loving all the comments! Thank you Frederique. I use the same Moroccan argan oil brand for my hair. I apply it every morning before I go to the gym, (I go every day unless I have something special to attend). I massage my scalp every morning with the soft rubber round brush you used. Then I come home and shower using the best hair products I can find. I wash my hair every day because I sweat every day or I am on the floor doing Yoga and my hair/head is often on the floor, a mat or on the bench. I also use the same Moroccan brand hair mask once a week in the shower like you do. I also use their Clarifying shampoo once a week before I apply the hair mask. I use Levothyroxine for my thyroid issue, as well. I didn't know about that affecting Botox. I use to have Botox done every once in a while. I haven't done it for a year, not sure I will continue doing it now. I have been doing monthly Hyra facials with the LED lights, that seems to help my face. She also has done a bit of scraping on some of my wrinkles and infusing that spot with serums afterwards, it seems effective against my "elevens" so far. I had her do a series of micro needling last Spring. She doesn't seem to want to do that to me anymore. I thought my skin came out nicely. But who knows why she doesn't like it. She is Korean and uses only the best of Korean products. I try to use some of those Korean skin products at home as well. Again, thanks a lot for this video. One last thing. I was using Lumify every day and got a broken blood vessel in my eye. it didn't hurt but it looked horrible. I ran to the Ophthalmologist and she said do not use Lumify every day. Only on special occasions. I use it once a week on date night.

I love this video. Thanks for doing it. I even think you could do a whole video doing your makeup. Slower, showing your technique’s & products with links. The hair situation. I have very fine hair and a lot of hair. It does shed some too. I like to wash my hair every morning to feel fresh. I do not like my scalp to get oily or smell. I use Aveda Rosemary & Mint shampoo on my scalp always. They have a generic by Sauve that is the same formula. The rest of my hair gets a different shampoo. I like Bed Head, Biolage, L’Oréal ever pure moisturizing. I recently got the New L’Oréal shampoo and conditioner with hyaluronic acid & it is very nice. Made my hair have a lot of volume. I also have been using the acid in shower treatment by L’Oréal which is great, especially in the summer when it is humid. And then I do a hair mask every 2 weeks or so. One thing I found for growing hair longer is to do a oil overnight then wash in the morning. Jojoba oil is great for hair. It is the oil closest to our own natural oils. I also like a overnight hair serum, L’Oréal use to have one, still hunting for that, or a new one. I really don’t blow dry my hair, only in the winter when it is cold. And when I do I use a blow dry accelerator with heat protection & try to focus on the roots mostly @ a low temperature. Usually I let it air dry in a ponytail or bun. The ponytail holders I use are 2 mm for fine hair & for no breakage. The trick is to not do too tight. Use a hair spray if needed. I always use a leave in conditioner, religiously. This gives some texture grip as well. I like Biolage, also L’Oréal, ones with protein are great. Occasionally I use a tiny bit of serum/ oil for frizz. I like ghost oil for this, but most are too heavy. One oil for hair I love is by Wella, this one is used on we hair before drying, it’s very good in the winter. Another trick I do is use my dehumidifier a bit after using the hair towel just to get the dampness out. The last year I started using a cream gel by L’Oréal on my baby hairs around my hairline when my hair is up to tame them, and it is more moisturizing. I think washing every day is good for stimulating hair growth, keeping the scalp clean. Some days I will just wash the roots rinse and use a leave in conditioner. I also started going to a Aveda salon for color, which is a natural color salon. I think this has helped my hair. I always use to color my own hair. I try not to worry if my roots show or greys in between appointments. Sometimes I use a toner like by Kristen Ess, this one lasts maybe 3 weeks. I might try some others, some semi permanent colors. L’Oréal has some but they are hard to get in the USA now. Or a cellophane is good, Sebastian makes great ones. I think avoiding color with ammonia is helpful. But difficult. The rest of the stuff for skincare I like to do a facial peel occasionally & I’m trying to do more retinol. I recently tried the Agency program, it is great & only $5 to try! I will try to find a link for you. And I really love Neutrogena retinol serum with spf 30. I can use it during the day which is just easier for me & no irritation. Their eye cream formula is amazing too. And using more sunscreen is really made a difference! I also like to do a body aha peel & a clay body mask regularly & get a massage every month. I love your tips, thank you for sharing. You always have a effortless way about you.

I use irestore. I bought the device in February and my hair is roughly 90% of what it used to be. I had really thick hair and losing it was so depressing, so I swear by this and it was so worth the money! I also use biotin shampoo and conditioner, and I take 10000 mcg of biotin a day. I was using the shampoo and biotin supplement 2 years before I bought irestore and although it helped, the irestore is what brought my hair back. You have to be patient. It took me 4 months to really see results and I use it faithfully every other day. I lost my hair from too much stress and when I get stressed, my hair takes the hit first, so this device has been a lifesaver.

It's a struggle every day to discover how to make up my eyes, because they were bigger , now they are each day smaller and the dark circles bigger. My lips are thinner too. Auguri e buona serata.

Great tips Frederique. I have half an eyebrow on my left eye. Where did the other half go lol? I've always had naturally thin eyebrows but as I'm ageing they're thinning out even more. I have to pencil in the missing half and fill my brows to make them look thicker. The only eye makeup I use is eyeliner to define the shape of my eyes otherwise my eyes look very small and tired. I pencil both top and bottom close to the lashes, bottom only outer corner. I don't wear mascara as I have hardly any lashes, the eyeliner helps to make my lashes look thicker. I use a little foundation and blush and lipgloss and that's about it. When I was younger I did the whole works, eyeshadow, lipstick, contouring etc. These days minimal and simple works better on me. You always look beautiful, with or without makeup. Thank you for the video and I hope you are feeling a little better xx

It seems to me that the older I get and I’m 63, my philosophy on make-up is less is more. Of course this always depends on each individual person. Some woman have beautiful eyes and have no hooding. It’s just not in their DNA, I’m not that fortunate. I do still like wearing eyeshadow or a soft pencil under my eye but just in the outer 1/4 of the eye and then I smudge. I even wear less foundation. I found that a good complexion and good skin care is crucial. I just recently had an IPL and it made such a difference. I find that I wear far less foundation because I have less to cover. I loved it so much, I have another scheduled in Nov. My skin is pretty darn good right now, but I went through a patch where it was so dry and uneven, every few years you just have to revisit your skin care, moisturizer, foundation, etc. Also, I try to maintain my weight. I find that losing weight after a certain, is aging. The first place you seem to see the loss is in the face. Thank you for all the tips and tricks.

I LOVE these beauty videos! ❤ Just tried Lumify because of your suggestion. It works! My favorite product is Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer. I have a couple of shades and I mix them to match my skin color through the year. Also Maybelline makes a good brow gel. I am one of those that overplucked in the 90s...

With hair loss, it can be helpful to have a hair mineral analysis test to see if you have any deficiencies causing the hair loss. 🧡
