@@jackpalmer7577you can find Luke hanging in a secret cave where the moon canyon is on the Level Lunar Reactor. It counts as a secret area. You can find Indiana Jones in the Hotel Hell level. All you have to do is jump into the pool waterfall, which will teleport you to a secret area that leads to the secret level Freeway. There’s a cave next to the exit that if you walk all the way to the end will have an atomic health on a pedestal and that’s where you can find Indy as well. I played Duke Nukem 64 before playing 3D and remember those areas were unchanged, except for Luke being in the cave instead of Yoda. Good times. Gooood times.

One of the first Easter eggs I ever found when I was a kid was in Secret of Evermore on the SNES. In one town there's a rather familiar looking innkeeper named Cecil who'll talk about how he used to be a paladin who settled down with his wife Rosa after saving the world. It's obviously Cecil from Final Fantasy IV. If you tell him you've heard all about his adventures he'll give you a discount. On the other hand, if you keep saying you've never heard of him while he lists his heroic achievements he'll get more and more upset and actually charge you more, saying something like: "What, you've never heard of my adventures on THE MOON?!"

3:36 When Lara Croft is rolling that sphere dropping it down the edge and putting it in place. That reminds me of the battery spheres from Epic Mickey 2. When you enter Disney Gulch, you are task to find up to 3 battery spheres that will power up the train. When you do you can exit to the bridge that will change whether or not its powered by paint or thinner depending on the number of battery spheres you have found. Thought of mentioning this since it's the same mechanic use in both games with the rolling animation the character uses to spin and push the spheres.

Link from Legend of Zelda has been killed by both Final Fantasy and Elder Scrolls. Way way back in Final Fantasy 1, in only the Japanese release, you could find a grave that said "Here lies Link." Then, in Skyrim, I forget where, but it's possible to find a dead high elf wearing a green tunie (that one is apparently a bit more up for debate if it is supposed to be Link, though)

Here's a couple I know: 1. In Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure, there's a dragon skeleton you can find on the ground near the start of one of the chapters set in the Undead area. The Skeleton resembles Spyro from the same game, being a meta easter egg in response to those who had negative reactions to the game's reveal back in Toy Fair 2011, such as "They killed Spyro". 2. In Final Fantasy, there's a trio of graves somewhere in the world, with only one of them being able to examined. In the NES version, it read "Here lies Erdrick". But in later releases, it was changed to "Here lies Link." The change could be a response to Zelda 2 having a similar easter egg in the Japanese version, where you can find a grave that reads, "Here lies Loto the Hero." The grave in question doesn't exist in the Western version of Zelda 2. 3. There's another one in Blaster Master Zero 2, but as it is important to the story, I say it's best you find out yourself.

Duke Nukem games in general very often reference other games, usually with their protagonists being dead. If I remember right there's a dead Doom Guy ("That's one doomed space marine!"), a dead Serious Sam ("Why so serious, Sam?") and a dead Lara Croft in other games. Probably some other ones, too!

There’s an Easter egg in this niche 90’s point & click game called Cookie’s Bustle involving Lara Croft. When the protagonist Cookie enters a temple area in the game, she can stumble across a lady resembling Lara laying on the floor, presumably dead. I can’t recall if Cookie says anything about Lara, but I do remember that she can take Lara’s gun and say something along the lines of “I don’t need this!” and throw it into a pit on the side of the temple.

This is referencing the exact same line from Marathon 2 of the famous Marathon series.

I would assume this has already been said but in Max Max, in Gutgash's territory you can find a Half Life reference. I'm going off memory here so forgive me if I'm wrong but I believe there's a skeleton their with the glasses & a crowbar next to a crate. As if it weren't obvious enough the HL logo (or one close to it) is painted next to it. If anyone is interested in looking for it as I said from memory it's in Gutgash's territory, but it's also in a little alcove rather than being out in the open.

Resident Evil 0 (2016) you can find a zombie version Albert Wesker. Resident Evil 2 (1998) in an early cutscene you come across a zombie Leon Kennedy. And the one I like, Days Gone, there are several houses you can search to find a dead zombie laying next to a guitar, reference to The Last Of Us? Not only that, but just like in The Last Of Us 2, Ellie plays the guitar a few times, in Days Gone, you can find a certain person who will play the guitar & sing to you a few times. Also in The Last Of Us 2, you come across a moss cover rider-less motorcycle & across from that a police interceptor, 2 main things dire in Days Gone.
