In Arkham City, throughout the game there are three hidden cryptographic sequencer messages that basically just say a bunch of numbers. If you decode the message (in real life) you get a message from Scarecrow saying: "I will return, Batman. You will pay for what you have done to me. Fear will tear Gotham to shreds", which is exactly what happens in Knight. Coolest one in my opinion

@@vardenfell971 They are top down tactical with full rotation and up there with Fallout New Vegas in rpg and factions and complex decisions with full repercussions. Wasteland 3 is a nice improvement, with Xcom levels of hard with higher difficulties.

In oblivion there’s a book about the different vampire clans in Tamriel and a person going and hunting them down one of the vampire clans where the volkahar of Skyrim, so I guess they kinda teased the dawnguard dlc

I think Elder Scrolls lore was just written very well, rather than them teasing it. If you write a very detailed, in-depth world, then you have cool little lore pieces and events that you can pull from and use as a new game or DLC for years to come. It's kinda like how Sheogorath is in multiple games. Obviously seeing him in an older game wasn't a teaser that he would appear in Skyrim as well, but it was more of the fact that the lore is so well written that they can pull from it in that way and still have it make perfect sense. It's kinda like how they were able to make The Hobbit series out of LOTR. Bilbo Baggins existed in the LOTR universe, and from the movies, we KNOW he went on a bunch of crazy adventures and whatnot before the movies took place. So the writers sit there and are like "Hey, we have already established that this event happened in the lore of the world; let's make a story talking about that!"

The GTA teaser was not only in the manual but on a billboard ingame. Then the image underneath was just a random picture you can find in the porn video store form the gta 4 story. What was a real teaser was the caracter Packie travelling to the airport in the gta 4 credits. And leaving on a plane.

Actually, I knew that GTA 5 location was going to be in San Andreas, without the manual. It was based on how the series was going and it bas based on popularity (by my deductions). GTA 3 was based in Liberty City (New York), and it was a bit hit when it came out. GTA Vice City was (obviously) Miami but though it was popular, wasn't as big as GTA 3 even on the hayday. GTA San Andreas was based on the entire State of California and Nevada (for Las Venturas/ Las Vegas) and was a HUGE hit. Because it was such a hit, and geographical size was extremely large, I figured the next location to push boundaries would be San Andreas, hence GTA 5. I believe that they would make the Location of GTA 6 to be the entirety of Florida...Orlando and all!

The lone wolf portion of the story was a bit too slow and felt like it was drawn out just for the purpose of making it last just as long as the daytime action with a full squad.

I liked the level design of ODST, being set in small open world version of New Mombasa, the night missions were truly atmospheric. I like that Halo Infinite is building off of this level design on a much larger scale.

In Mad Max game that came out in 2015 there's is a hint for Just Cause 4 where the bridge was shaped number four, which the game came out three years later. The reason is that mad max is published by Avalanche Studios the same studio that published Just Cause series.

I'm not sure if it is an easter egg, but in Horizon: Zero Dawn, there's this lore/file that you can scan using the focus which gives an in-depth background of Forbidden West. And voila, Horizon: Forbidden West is almost upon us! Can't wait to play that game!

​@@StivHC you're literally required to scan that audio log to progress the story. it's not really hidden, and they announced forbidden west pretty quickly. besides, technically speaking according to the Carja, everything west of Meridian is "The Forbidden West" so like half of the first game already takes place in it.

Was replaying the new God of War and there were a lot of references of Ragnarok which is normal as it's part of the Nordic mythology. However near the end of the game Atreus says something along the lines of "we can survive anything, even Ragnarok". With next year's God of War game being rumored to be called Ragnarok, I found it interesting.

That bar where you are fighting at the beginning of UC 3 (where you find the newspaper) can be found at the end of the Pittsburgh chapter in The Last of Us, and here it's named "O'Sullivan", which a reference to Victor Sullivan.

Zenimax Online Studios, that makes Elder Scrolls Online, has a full time job on their team specifically called "Loremaster." The role is literally to make sure all things in ESO are consistent with Elder Scrolls lore going all the way back to the beginning. I can't imagine anybody takes their lore more seriously than that franchise; there's a lot to keep straight. They do a great job, too. Thus, anything in the franchise probably could be a "tease" for a new game, because Tamriel is treated very carefully as one consistent world.

In metal gear solid 3 when you infiltrate and enemy base and find a professor you’re trying to extract there’s a part of the cutscene where Snake looks down on the desk and R1 pops up in the corner of the screen, if you hit R1 you go into first person and see that Snake is looking at a blueprint for a Gekko which was a enemy in Metal Gear Solid 4

In Control you can find documents that state Alan Wake was a CEO candidate just like Jesse and her brother. Not really an Easter Egg but there was a small side quest in Fallout 3 called The Replicated Man in which you had to choose between siding with a scientist from some far away institute and some lady from an organization called The Railroad to decide the fate of some Android. Everyone kind of suspected this quest was a bit sus but it ended up being the main story for Fallout 4.

nobody mentions this but i'm sure that cod ww2 was teased in infinite warfare because in infinite warfare they had all these future themed calling cards yet one day they added ww2 themed calling cards and they seemed so out of place yet nobody considered them a cod ww2 easter egg even though there were rumors going around that the next cod would take place on ww2 or the cold war

in GTA:SA there was a reference to gta 4, one of the gyms in las venturas off the strip, inside the gym the one of the barrier walls it says "Niko was here"

Helena Pierce says she has kept "the road to Sanctuary" closed during Borderlands 1 which turns out to be the name of the beginning mission in Borderlands 2. Also we don't talk about Sanctuary 2.
