Thank you for this great tutorial! As much as I have wanted to use my Kittl, I always find it a little bit confusing and end up back at Canva! Their tutorials are great but I appreciate how slow and precise you are going in this video. I learned some things that I either did not pick up or have not seen on their videos. Never knew about the settings. I’m definitely going to try to hone my abilities on Kittl as well.

Great video, Mandy!! Thought I knew a lot about Kittl, but I definitely learned some new features today! Didn't realize you could vectorize down to 2 colors, then turn off the "interior" color to make it a transparent image. Very handy, thanks!! (Tracy L from your thrive group)

Love it Mandy. Learned some new tricks! I'm new to Kittle. Wondered about the clipping thing. So like maybe you have a floral background and you want to put it in the text, you can use this right? So I use Procreate. I want you take images I create and drop it in kittle.. maybe a video on this.

great tutorial! question about the alpha mask/clipping tip - I have done this before but found my designs upload fine without using the clipping feature. Just using alpha mask alone and then removing the background when I download is enough. I only upload to merch by amazon...not sure if that makes a difference.

Thanks for the awesome info. I have a few questions. I followed your video several times, but I never could get it to work exactly like you showed. I don't have the same options. I'm not certain if this is due to the difference between the Professional and/or Expert version. I'm also wondering if there has been updates since the video posted that might have changed the overall appearance within Kittl. Any other suggestions on what I might be able to do? Thank you!

Why did you need two dog layers in your faux letter cutout design? Don't you just need the one in between the two text layers?

Lol you’re right, I didn’t catch this when recording my process! When I originally did this design there was a background in the bottom layer with the dog so it required an extra layer to remove the background on the top layer (while retaining the background on the other with the text in between). In this recording I was only working with the dog image without any background, and clearly my brain was on autopilot with the extra layers here while recording 🥴 As you pointed out, if there is no background on your image you just need the one so that it’s sandwiched between the text 😅

Can I ask you a question that I guess might be stupid to some but since I don’t know what the difference is I am just gonna ask What’s the difference between Kittl & Creative Fabric and their Studio?
