I've never seen a hairstyle tutorial vid do replays like that - it was super helpful to really figure out what's going on while you explained it!

Thanks so much! I struggle so badly with what to do with my hair when it's closer to wash day. I currently still wash twice a week but am working and learning more every day to get it down to just weekly. None of which would have happened without having your videos to teach me what to do. I have very similar hair to yours and all of your product recommendations do wonders for me. So thank you very much for what you do!

So helpful, specifically the jaw clip styles for me. I do have to say I started hearing the Hokey Pokey song in my head half way through. "You put your left hand here, you put your right hand there, you grab the hair here and you twist it all up, you grab the jaw clip and you clip near the top, that's what it's all about." Love the video, just need you to sing it next time.

OMGSH, thank you, thank you, thank you. I have watched so many tutorials on how to do my hair in these adorable styles, but they're so hard to follow and I can't remember how after I have finished watching them. You're the only person who does like that little replay over and over! That's a true teaching video. I'm brand new to your channel and I absolutely love it. Thank you again. XOXO'S

Oh wow I used to do my hair like this with the big and mini jaw clips over 20 years ago. Funny to see it back.

My favorite is just pinning a basic braid over the front part of your hair so it hides the worst of the Grease, i get tons of compliments and no one seems to realize they say it over day 7 hair
@NatalieJ223 жыл бұрын
Where do you start the braid from? I’m having a hard time picturing it
@Debble3 жыл бұрын
@@NatalieJ22 from behind my ear. I so have really long hair so it goes fully around my head like a crown braid. I make a side braid on the left wrap it around the back of my head and then the ends get tucked under the starting point. It is easier to make it look full if you use 2 side Blain's if you have shorter hair. Or you can skip wrapping it around the back of your head and just pin one or 2 braids up like they are a headband

I don’t care for the feeling of dry shampoo in my hair. After 3-4 days, I wash it. I’m thankful I have a soft water system - it really makes a difference!

I'm 4 months post partum and all these whacky hormones have caused severe hair loss, so I'm kind of stuck with super thin hair at the moment. Still just watching once a week, but I am legggiiitttt struggling to find nice hairstyles at the moment with this limp, skinny ass thin straw hair. 😫 Going to try some of these styles! Thank you for making this vid. 🧡 You're like a hair guru.. whisperer... ninja....

These are such lovely ideas Abbey! My hair texture is "swavy" (spirals and waves) and rope braids do help! I actually do that rope braid pigtails thing you did in order to tame my natural texture so it doesn't get too wild! I do this on wash days when it's damp, and I twist each of the two pieces away from my face, then twist them around each other, bringing the back one forward first... if that makes any sense lol! I shampoo twice a week 🙂 I like the bubble ponytail look, I'll have to try that! And do you think those large jaw clips would work well on medium length hair? Also, would you consider using international amazon affiliate links? I am a subscriber from Canada! 😍🇨🇦👍
@happyhappy1013 жыл бұрын
I don't have the same hair texture as you, but I noticed that doing rope braid pigtails like you and then putting them in buns when my hair is damp is the best heatless hairstyle for me. Braids alone somehow make my hair frizzier. The rope braids keep it smoother and the buns just add more interest to the waves when I wear my hair down.
@thethriftyfawn3 жыл бұрын
@@happyhappy101 The rope braids are great, aren't they! They create or enhance a spiral texture, whereas braids create crimps... crimps are not a natural texture for some... hence the frizz lol 😊

I have to wash my hair pretty frequently because it’s just so fine that it gets greasy way too fast especially since I have naturally oily skin but my go to is usually either a ponytail or a French braid because anything more complicated I get frustrated with my hair too quickly lol. It’s a struggle having fine hair that tangles if you even look at it the wrong way 😅

Maybe someone can explain this to me because I simply don’t get it. Why don’t you just wash your hair? How long does it possibly take to wash and dry your hair? With all the advanced drying tools available today the process takes no more than 20 minutes even if your hair is long or layered.
@grannypat4123 жыл бұрын
My hair is dry and frizzy when I shampoo it . Also if I use a hair dryer it's worse. My hair looks better and is more healthy if it just air dries. It takes hours for it to dry because it is long and thick. I hope that explains somewhat. 😊
