I LOVE LOVE LOVE, that you guys show us what happens when you fall. Thank you for showing us how it looks falling while doing these tricks improperly because not to actually see what happens when you perform the trick improperly can intimidate a person learning who may not know what to expect when they fall. This video really REALLY helps me get over my fear of falling while doing these tricks because now I don't think that I am that afraid to commit to the tricks now. Again, THANK YOU. I haven't seen ANY other video show this and it is ABSOLUTELY necessary to me, at least to see this.

I have to agree with this. It's so hard to get past all the ways my mind imagines eating it. Inevitably, when I can clear my mind is when I start to see progression.

Hey guys. My names Terence. I’m 28 years old and I bought my first board in December. I’m currently skating my second board. The tricks I’ve Learned so far are the Ollie. Front shove, and dropping into the half pipe. I’ve been practicing riding fakie and I can Ollie like this as well. I’m struggling with the backside 180 right now but I’m making a lot of my progress because of you guys. I appreciate everything you do and all the time you put into this. Just wanted to share that with you.

I’m 52 I have trouble when I need to roll fakie , any tips bend knees etc ? And I,ll get up early and go to the ramp when there’s no kids about to put me off lol . That ramp you’re on , just rolling up and down back and forth would be my idea of heaven , I could literally do it all day , I love skating since 10 but all I did was just get around on it , nobody was doing tricks when I was young And there seemed to be no parks , then when I was older I lacked confidence

On a mini ramp I think it's easier to learn Rock to Fakie from pumping before you learn to drop in. So when you are learning to drop in you have a trick to do on the other side instead of just bailing out every time. To avoid this you can also just learn to drop in on quarter pipes. TL;DR my progression would be pumping -> rock to fakie -> drop in -> tail stall.

One of the best videos for me. Been skating for half a year now, can do most of the basics from SMS1, recently cleared my first three stair, but I could not get my self to drop in yet, even on small ramps. It is not the fear of falling though, cause I had this with rolling up to the three stair too, but rather not feeling comfortable and safe enough with my technique. I think if I can cover the miniramp basics you presented in this video, dropping in will be easier for me! Keep it up guys!

Nice progression of tricks. I feel you need all of these skills in just about that order to pull all of these off. I like how you included the weight distribution on the rock to fakie; I think that pumping high up back and forth may be the missing link for this. I always feel like I can't come back fakie after I get up on the deck. Some time spent pumping fakie might help this fear going fakie.
@minas.8314 жыл бұрын
Thank you!! And keep turning and turning and turning and practice and then zzzz clean turn onto the coping with at least back trucks for tricks really getting caught on the deck height. Height of deck less than 12 f for secureness. Start with pivot on the back truck
