UPDATE: It appears according to others that damaging the tentacles in the water DOES count as boss damage. In my own experience they have not impacted Patient 13's health bar at all, but I'm definitly not above apologizing for bad info. So if that is infact the case, my apologies! Ignore tip 10, guess I didn't pay close enough attention to that in my 5 or 6 playthroughs of the boss... although I do still suggest focusing on patient 13 and not the tentacles, especially if you can hit the crit points. either way, my apologies!

Yeah I have seen a LOT of people run around infront of him, but that really only works solo and it evem ignores how 3arc INTENTED the fight to be played. I'm really glad this helped especially the day before season1, our absolute pleasure!

My tip is before using the Chopper gunner you need to activate an Insta kill gum for more damage

I want to note that in bo6 quick revive will ALWAYS go to the front of your perks. No matter if it was the second or sixth perk you bought. Also research phd to get phd slider. It’s a one hit aoe so you can just slide around to clear zombies

That's honestly a good tip, I have yet to research any of the perks (have all ammo mods and half the field upgrades researched) and looking back, could have definitly included a section about perks, my bad. But still, great tips here!

QUICK NOTE: someone may have already said this. If my playthroughs are evidence at all I'm going to piggyback On Your little tip about quick revive, And keeping all the bleed out perks. No matter when you buy a quick revive, it will automatically jump to the number one position on your perk bar. So if you buy it manage the next two perks to your play style. Just in case there are people who don't know.

Me personally the energy mine better with the turret and when you launch it all the zombie get attracted to it it’s good for crowd control and last bout 3 minutes especially when ammo low are you don’t have enough to buy ammo the energy mine helps drop salvage after killing zombies

It's funny I JUST unlocked the final augments for the Energy Mine, I honestly think it may be a great help in the boss fight. I need to 100% give it a shot next time I run the fight

All my buddies and I had legendary and ultra gobble gums but for some reason when I try activating mine they wouldn’t spawn in and once we all died. They were all gone from the inventory

@McDanklestank It gets tough with the tongue move and other insta-downs, I find phase 3 is best with idle eyes and Chopper gunner. As long as you're behind the objects in that ammo box area you should be safe but even still, I do agree. Boss fights nowerdays are a lot less skill and a lot more... annoyance? Lol

When in Chopper gunner I don't believe you can get downed if I understand mechanics right. I do reccomend saving the Chopper gunner until the third phase so you can be protected. Regardless, when you're behind the two objects on either side of the ammo box, you can't get hit from the slam. Use those as cover. To make it easier on you, I also recommend using Idle eyes to ensure you can easily and freely move about between shooting him and hiding in cover

Yeah an ar would definitely work, I'd avoid smgs personally but I'm sure they have a place if you use them right. Just make sure to bring the GS, preferably akimbo. It's vital. The Second gun is moreso to keep you alive

It does! It's not a lot of damage especially compared to something like the GS45s or Ray Gun, and considering ammo for wonder Weapons is 10,000 I'd really say to forego it for direct damage and use it for horde control, but yes it does do damage!

i'll be honest i used Chopper gunner in CW for exfil and it keeps the zombies in the exfil zone go bye

@TimeLords910 Chopper Gunner is amazing for Exfil, the only problem I've had with it is when I'm in solo because the elite will run off screen most times. I've swapped to the mutant injection personally and have had a lot more success with it, but even still the CG was GOATed in CW and still is in BO6

@@DeathSpread yeah i agree on what you mean. also I arrived after reaching the boss fight with Patient-13 my entire teammates got downed because none of us had explosive weapons or the raygun they had the wonderweapon but none of us had the chopper gunner which would've helped i don't have it since 3days ago i first got the game.

@@DeathSpread always but none of the team members last long enough to reach the boss fight and since the new map is coming in two days I haven’t gotten to see the ending myself and doing the Easter egg myself… I also did a solo run but still failed hopefully someday I’ll manage to get here I got access to chopper gunner through a few grinds and since SBMM is giving me low level players like 1 - 4 players and others who are either 40 like me and 50 the 1 - 4 players keep going down and most players leave I’ve been using a shotgun like the marine sp which my last few load outs didn’t work out as planned overall my excited to play through it again

Haha, I mean *I* thought it was good, but that's just my opinion. All personal preference, BO1 definitely made it* a LOT more viable with PHD, but even without it I still thought it was decent in WAW. But, eh. Just my view
