Curious to know how you speedrunners figure out the traps and in what order without going into the basement and going to the tavern. Thats the part that takes so long for me, and then when i get the combo and the book tells me what traps to hit, i always mess them up, all the traps look the same to me. Its either the eye versus the eye w/lashes(the two easiest ones) or the 4 and 6 point prongs all look the same. How do you guys skip that step and get all the traps perfect?

You can skip the wall/tavern. The papers are in staminup room at the start. They give you the traps in order from the wall where the light incantation spawns to the door that takes you down the stairs.

So basically theres only 4 symbols that it will cycle through: eye with 8 spikes, eye with 4 spikes, eye with a circle, and eye with lashes. The traps that have spikes AND circles you ignore no matter what. When you first enter stam room from jug area the pages will be laid out as follows: first will be to the left by the boxes, 2nd is by the bunkbeds, 3rd is by the tv's/ or couch; and the last one will ALWAYS be in the stam room so you don't have to check the page. As soon as you have talked to Kraft and the screen has turned purple you can start the traps but you have to make sure you have at least 10 enemies to kill on it. @@Nick_Cowles11bidk why there isn’t a KZbin tutorial on this skip, because it makes doing this EE so much fun, I hated the tavern step it was so tedious. After you talk to craft, don’t pick up the pages, follow what Kingman did and simply note what the symbol on the page is (in the order the previous reply told you to do). After you check the first 2, you’ll already know what your third trap is because the last trap always spawns in staminup. As far as the other traps, they can be random and aren’t allocated rooms

as val tier 3 pap and gold rarity shreds the boss 1k per hit after armour is gone, use the sword to gey rid of all armour phase 1 and its easy, also hand cannonbdoes 40k damage too

How do you know what the third trap will be after only seeing two? Is there a chart or something I could find?

Last one is always the one in the "Sitting Room" (the room with Stamina-Up and all the ripped page for the traps). Therefore if you find any traps elsewhere that aren't the 2 you already know, it HAS to be the last one you need. Eg: In this case he knows (from looking at the page spawns) Trap 1 is "Circle" Trap 2 is "4 Spikes" Once those traps are completed, if he comes across either "8 Spikes" or "Eyelashes", that's his third trap. Whatever is left over is ALWAYS in Sitting Room like I said.

That "delay" is non existent if you activate the machine in round X then kill the last Zombie to go to the next round immediately, allowing you to hit the machine back to back

Round flipped to 2, he hit the gum machine the first time; round flipped to 3 and he hit the gum machine a second time. Each time the round flips you can immediately hit the machine again. You can skip the part where you have to get the 6 signs on the wall to place the pages on the book. Basically you can see the signs on the pages before you pick them up and if you get the specific location of the pages in a specific sequence you can tell what the trap sequence is without every having to even pick them up.

Your using the wrong weapon to kill the boss with, I used the SAUG SMG dual wield with the following attachments, Suppressor, CHF Barrel, Extended Mag 2, Assault Grip, Steady Aim Laser and 9X19MM Parabellum FMJ Rounds. With that I was able to kill the final boss within 2 minutes and 35 seconds and here is the best part I didn't even use any gobble gums so no insta kill, which means the boss could probably be killed within 1 - 2 minutes. With these guns you would've completed the Ester Egg in about 20 - 21 minutes. P.S, This is not me trying to be mean or anything like that, just trying to give you some good advice about the best guns to use in that boss fight, for example these guns are doing so much damage that I didn't even need to pop any of the bosses crit points to put him in his first immune phase.
