11:22 As far as I know then Rowling had not made the unforgivable curses yet at that time. It was the actor playing Lucius who just started to say something.

I used to have an explanation for the Polyjuice problem in the movies. I always said that Hermione just wasn't able to brew the potion as good as Barty Crouch Jr and that's why the voice didn't change. But I doubt that they would use anything but perfect potion in the 7th movie so that can't be the case.

I believe the omission of Winky in Goblet of Fire, and Hepzibah Smith and Hokey in Half-Blood Prince, borders on criminal damage to the storytelling. I do understand it would be more expensive due to CGI and voice actors to manifest the house-elves, but they are essential parts of the saga. P.S. To the video creator, you could use the text "Anniemae Guy" to get the proper pronunciation of the plural of Animagus.

Umbridge used the quill liberally in the books, too.

Umbrage has nothing on Colonel William Tavington (played by Jason Isaacs Draco's dad), Umbrage was just annoying, Tavington was vial and loathsome individual.

I am one of the few who dislike the entire series, and the primary reason is its writer, Steve Cloves. He is on record as showing favouritism towards some characters. For instance, he disliked Ron so he gave most of his good lines to Hermione whom he loved and wished could 'ship' with Harry. Although I am not a screen writer, I should have thought that professional objectivity would be an important part of the job. There are unforgivable changes to characters which either skew their motives (Lucius and Sirius), add negative elements which are not there (Dumbledore) or white-wash them completely (Snape). It seems to me that the writer had become far too emotionally invested - blurring the lines between interpreter and authorship so that what we got was far too influenced by his own feelings about the characters for which he had responsibility. It is to be hoped that the new show will go some way to remedying this travesty.
