I didn't know about the frame guide for vertical framing in landscape. This is very handy, as we need to repurpose content across platforms.

If Filmic wasn't dead before, it is now...

As the former product manager for Filmic Pro, I have to admit-though it pains me-I agree 💯,

Great video bro! I just installed this app 2 weeks a go, my app version is 1.5.1.0002 and s23 ultra.. but i think the stabilization is not working on my phone. I tried switching from off- opitical- standard.. Did i missed something?
@EpictutorialsАй бұрын
Thanks so much. Not all Android handsets make stabilisation available to third party apps. If it isn’t available/working it could be that Samsung have not exposed this for Blackmagic to implement. I’ll reach out to the devs and enquire and let you know if I hear anything.

I can't find LUTs to download and use on an android phone. Is this even possible? Let me know if you know about it. Thank you!

As Android doesn't yet have a native log format available to compatible devices in the same way Apple implemented Apple Log as a standard for 15/16 and future 'Pro' series iPhones, you won't find many (if any) dedicated LUTs for Android at present. Your best bet it is to search for LUTs that are designed for Rec.709 and try those. Blackmagic Camera has full LUT support on Android. The challenge will be finding LUTs that work well. If you grab DaVinci Resolve (free version is fine) you could look into making your own. Plenty of tutorials on this available on KZbin. I'm planning on producing Epic LUTs for the Samsung S25 Ultra which includes Samsung Log. Hoping to explore doing the same for Xiaomi devices once the 15 Ultra is released. What Android device are you using?

@Epictutorials Thanks for the reply, it will be very interesting and useful to see a video from you for the S25 ultra. I have s 24ultra and I hope in the new update there will be a log format for video shooting! In fact, Samsung does not work much in the direction of advertising video capabilities, the entire KZbin is filled with more iPhone videos than Samsung, but this does not mean that it cannot also shoot high-quality, it is a matter of the person who does it.

Sorry to hear. They must have a poor implementation of Googles camera API.

Does BLACKMAGIC have a PAUSE button to pause between recordings vs having to STOP?
@EpictutorialsАй бұрын
It does not support pause/resume recording.
