You don't get mold if you ventilate the house. Cadiz is windy enough to replace all the humid air inside your house with fresh air if you open all windows for 10 minutes every early morning or before going to bed (ideally both). Same with blind curtains; there is a reason we don't use them here. For instance, insulation is fine but you insist on having blind curtains that create pockets of hot air inside the house. Use exterior mechanical blinds like we do and you won't need to crank up the AC. Take a minute to educate yourself and learn to live like locals do.

I ventilate the house several hours every single morning and leave them open all night sometimes and it isn’t enough to prevent mold for us. Our house is very poorly insulated. There’s a huge gap under the door and our windows let air and moisture in at all times. We’ve also heard similar things from other locals here, but it definitely depends on the location and construction of the home. Ours simply seems to be on the bad side of insulation.
