Absolutely stunning beach……. Just across the bay you have Cadiz with its timeless charm. Really lovely part of Europe this whole area is.

How old is the history of Rota ?

Rota was established in 1953, following the signing of an agreement for facilities use between the United States and Spain. The agreement required two years of surveys, negotiations and planning which led to ground breaking on the base in 1955.

The town of Rota has a very ancient history, it was probably founded by the Phoenicians, then it passed to the Romans, later to the Muslims and then to the Christians. The American military base I don´t know exactly

From Seville you can take a train to Cadiz and ferry ⛴️ to Rota or from Seville, hire a car and drive to Rota.

From madrid to Jerez by plane. In Jerez airport you can take a taxi to Rota, in only 30 minutes. Im from Rota 😊

@@lolobuda 여고 18살때 영어책에서 읽었습니다. 로타는 전세계적으로 최상품의 호박이 재배되는 곳이다.그곳의 땅은 비옥하고 거름진가 ? 절대 아니다. 그곳의 땅은 황폐하고 메마르고 거칠다.. 그런데 어떻게 그런 땅에서 세계적으로 유명한 호박이 재배되는것일까? 그것은 농부님들이 자식을 키우는 마음. 즉 사랑으로 키우기 때문이다. 꼭 가볼거예요 제 나이는 58 세입니다. 계획을 짜고 있어요. 답글 감사합니다
