Nicely done... I agree Kano is smashing it.... his character is chilling and scary because you can see the Humanity in him when he's away from the deadly criminal activity. I grew up in Hackney... so when I watch the show it's heartfelt... because there are so many intelligent young people who make questionable choices... for different reasons. It's a Great Show... the acting is top notch... I just hope lessons are learnt for the young people watching ☮

Kano has been my favourite UK artist since 2004/2005.. I forget how long ago it was. I went to see his home sweet home 10 year anniversary show at a small club in Manchester, then he came to Newcastle for the "made in the manor" tour (best album of our generation), and I went to 2 venues of the "Hoodies all summer" tour, with Manchester being the absolute best show I've ever been to. Went to see Dave this year and realised the absolute levels of showmanship Kane brings to his shows in comparison to others - it's no surprise he's the stand out cast member in Top Boy. "The whole hood got love for me, for never fronting, no faking, no fuckeries"

TBH I was hearing about top boy since 2011 but I give it a try in 2022 and I wasn't disappointed and with the whole drill scene really peek my interest and top boy told a lot of local stories about the hood life in the Uk that the American media never show us.
