Did you ever drive or own one of these extinct car brands? *This is a reupload of a previous video. Corrected copyright issue and an inaccuracy.

@AmericanRewind yes I did. I bought a 1997 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme SL in 2000. And the dealership told me then, they are going to stop making Oldsmobile in a few years. I had that car ten years before the transmission went out. I miss my Pimp Mobile.😢

Saturn was the first new car I ever bought. 1993 I think. Loved the no haggle sale!

My first car was a 1971 Mercury. I learned to drive on a 1963 Oldsmobile. Over the years, I owned four Oldsmobiles. Miss them.

I seriously miss the Checker Cabs. I had my last ride in one in the 80s. I wish someone would bring them back. Besides comfortable, they were easy to get in an out of quickly, even with many things in your hands, a necessity in the traffic of NYC.

The video said it will be ten car brands if he adde’d the Pontiac brand in the video would have to show 11 car brands. In my case the video is more interesting showing really forgotten brands.

My current car is a 2004 Mercury Sable, 280K miles, going strong! It's predecessor was a 1992 Olds Achieva, I also had an early Saturn. My buddies joke me that when I buy a car, it's the "kiss of death" for that company!!
@itschelseakay23 күн бұрын
That’s so funny 😆 But also stinks if you really like the car and want your next car to be from that company when the time comes 😅

My dad had a yellow nash rambler that on more than one occasion people got in it thinking it was a taxi. He also had a 52 studebaker, a 37 Plymouth that looked like an early mafia car, a Hudson, a 68 mercury cougar and a montego. For a long while, when the muscle car market had a steep drop, he would buy cars at auction for $300-500. Most of them were really rough, but a few no one else bid on were really nice

I had a 1970 Mercury Cyclone GT that I miss to this day. It had a 429 in it, enough room to play baseball in, and was incredible to drive.

My mom had a Ford Galaxie 500. Most comfortable car I ever rode in. Dad's family had a DeSoto and a Hudson, and a Packard . My uncles took care of my grandparents and they had an Oldsmobile Delta 88 to drive them where they needed to go. In the 1970s mom had a Mercury . My first boyfriend had a Plymouth Roadrunner.... Sparkling metallic purple, that was called Dino after Dino the dinosaur on the Flintstones. On and on.

I've had an Oldmobile. A 1989 Cutlass Calais. The first new car I ever bought. I bought my wife a used 2001 Saturn SL2 in 2004. My parents had a 1996 SL2, a 1978 Olds Custom Cruiser wagon, and a 1986 Olds Cutlass. My uncle would only buy Oldsmobiles... usually Delta 88s.

It still makes me angry that I had to "junk" a perfectly running beautiful Saturn 2001 ONLY because it didn't have a emergency brake cable and we couldn't find the part. One simple part and it wouldn't pass inspection. Everything else was PERFECT. I got $50 for that car in the end. After all the money we had put into it, after all the time, and all the years. My mother must have paid over $12,000. I'll forever be pissed at the system who let this happen and at Jimmy Southers Auto Salvage who wouldn't even give me a decent amount of money and expected me to leave my child unattended in his carseat to go out and see the car that they had towed without calling first and without my permission. They stole our car from us and had it locked up. I couldn't even get to it. I didn't call them to tow my car and junk it and think they would have the nerve to treat us the way they did or treat my child the way they did. I thought they might have a bit more respect for a single mother and a child. But no. They didn't care at all. It's so wrong. Some people deserve every bit of karma they can get.

My father's favorite car was the Hudson, and I've heard that lots of police departments used them because of their power. The last car he bought before he passed was a 2-tone green, 4 door 1955 Hudson Hornet. By the time I was driving, mom had sold it for one you didn't share here - the Chevy Corvair.

My first car was a 1961 Rambler American, a very poorly designed car. The last American built car I owned was a Saturn. The car my dad owned when I was born was a Plymouth. And the only new cars I ever bought were Oldsmobile Cutlass Supremes. I had an aunt and uncle who both owned a Hudson. Not all of the cars my family has owned are by companies that are now out of business (although I should add that my grandfather's last car was a Willys coupe). But with my track record, I would think twice about buying stock in Hyundai!

The Hudson Hornet is also Doc Hudson from the original movie Cars from Pixar. And America is a continent, not a country. Mercury and Saturn are also planets in our solar system. Fargo was also once a car maker and company.
