The Undertaker seems to be the person who cares the most about the WWE. More so than HHH or any of the McMahons. Every time you hear a story about him it's about how he put someone over or did right by the company. I haven't heard a single story about how he was stubborn and refused to do something due to his ego.
@davidmandracchia24704 жыл бұрын
I've heard similar except there was only 1 story I've heard that was bad about the undertaker. Apparently during his first fued with Brock, he "wasn't feeling it" when he was asked to put him over, so they did a non-finish, but that was literally the only somewhat-ego fueled thing I've heard him do.

At a time where no one was giving Jericho his and no one was respecting his performances, Undertaker went out of his way to find, approach, and talk to him after his match just to praise him on what a great champion he was. Jesus, I will never NOT love the Undertaker. Inside and outside the ring, the man is fucking perfect and, even though no one thinks about it, is the glue that holds the whole company together. Not Cena, not NXT, not old part timers from past Era's, not the 24+ ppv's a year, not the spectacular revival of the cruiser weight division and not the revamp of the women's division. No, none of that. It's the fucking UNDERTAKER that keeps WWE afloat, and they will be utterly lost when he leaves.

lel Undertaker is the most professional man the WWE has ever seen. To paraphrase Mr Kennedy (Kennedy) "There are 2 mountains, one with guys like The Undertaker that is throwing ropes down and telling others that there is plenty of room at the top, the other with guys like Triple H and Shawn Michaels that are throwing boulders down." Undertaker has, does and always will care about the future stars of the business, even if they ended up with comedy acts years after their Debut, Khali and Koslov come to mind.

Personally, X8 was one of the best Wrestlemania's for me. The pre-match packages built quite a lot of hype for their associated matches, and it's also one of the few remaining live performances of Drowning Pool with Dave Williams as the frontman before his death. Triple H's entrance to the The Game by Drowning Pool was fantastic and just fit the hype so well. I loved the Hardcore 24/7 rule bout throughout the event, as it was just great. Every match on the card deserved a round of applause, and even the women's belt match was good albeit not the finest work in the division at mania.

The last one would have explained why Jericho was not booked for Backlash of 2002 and in the end was scheduled to just cut a promo, it was cause he was pissed off about his pay. Then when he got paid more he would face off against Triple H in a hell in the cell match at Judgment Day 2002.

Triple H's career has always been notoriously pampered by Vince McMahon. between burying fresh talent in the span of 20 years, almost always being in the main event, the inherited corporate role, and the ridiculously pay that contrasts his match competitor, it's hard seeing a future in WWE especially if you're told HHH is going to work you. (by work they mean bury your dreams) CM Punk has always been outspoken about how he gets undercut in both the main event of PPV's and pay(especially in contrast to a Mr. Helmsey)
@JackTheripper9117 жыл бұрын
Always? hilarious but no. he did go from jobber to main eventer in roughly 4 years. Which is impressive indeed. But HHHs success does come from the kliq and marrying Steph. But he did have a portion where he wasn't so up on Vinces list of guys

Massive tips to Undertaker for taking time out to praise Jericho for his time as champion. And it wouldn't surprise me if Vince didn't argue about cutting a cheque for Jericho because he respected the balls it would have taken for him to actually go to the boss (especially one like McMahon) and tell him he wasn't happy that his opponent made 5 times what he did for a Wrestlemania main event match. Vince had a reputation for hating "yes" men working for him and Jericho doing what he did took guts. Vince probably respected that.

Jericho to me is the best combined Worker and Talker in history business. Their are better workers then him and better talkers. But for combined I would have to say he was the best. Can't wait for his match with Owens. Plus I heard he is coming right back in like two months after Payback. He is having so much fun working with all the new talent that hes never wrestled. Plus he loves putting them over he will win here and there but that needed to keep him somewhat strong.

If Vince really was "testing" Jericho by seeing how he would react to a slight, it would appear that Jericho responded in the way that Vince had hoped for. In that last one, it's been on record from wrestlers (and Vince himself) that he wants those guys to speak up if they dont like something or have a problem with it. Maybe Vince didn't anticipate that Jericho would outright ask HHH about his pay day, or maybe he did and wanted to see if Jericho would stand up for himself. Either way, it seems that Vince is pretty consistent when it comes to valuing honesty. Apparently, he's weird like that. :P
