Here's an interesting fact . WrestleMania 19 is the last mania involving two wrestlers main eventing mania for the first time . Lesnar and Angle both were main eventing for the first time . Edit : Becky, Charlotte and Ronda (Wrestlemania 35) ,then Sasha and Bianca (Wrestlemania 37 night 1), then Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn vs The Usos (Wrestlemania 39 night 1) has happened now.

Who the hell thinks Wrestlemania 19 isn't on the same level of WM 30. Wrestlemania 19 was miles more entertaining than 30.

I think it's the best wrestlemania. 17 might have had the best card in terms of balance, but it didn't have 4 classics on the card. It also didn't have such an array of legends. Never again will we see a card where the following names all performed in the ring: Rock, Austin, Michaels, Jericho, Hogan, Angle, Lesnar, and the Undertaker.

At this time in WWE, you had The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, John Cena, Stone Cold, The Rock, Brock Lesnar, Kurt Angle, Hulk Hogan, Batista, Randy Orton, Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero, Chris Jericho, Kane, Roddy Piper, Edge and more on the roster at the exact same time. Yes some were past their primes, some hadn't hit their primes and some were on their way out but that is an insane amount of star power.

I loved Wrestlemania 19 though. Definitely one of my favourites. In my view it also had one of the best post endings for a match. The Jericho vs HBK. That ending was gold. The Hug and than the kneeto the gut. Then Jericho is just like "Screw you Shawn". Such a good heel moment. I reemember during this time Cinema Wrestlemania's was a big thing. The cinema was packed and people just marked out of that moment. The also loved the moment when Jericho attempted the Sweet Chin Music. I also remember an Austin chant when he walked up the ramp. Wrestlemania in Cinemas was actually fun. It's nice to hear a crowd. I wish they still did it. But nope. I just watch it alone on the network now lol. I wish I knew more people who like WWE.

My favorite Wrestlemania, when you think about it, 19 had basically every wrestler who helped define wrestlemania (all of the "legends of Wrestlemania" if you will) Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, Steve Austin, The Rock, Hulk Hogan, Vince McMahon, Triple H, Roddy Piper, Brock Lesnar, Chris Benoit, even Kurt Angle. All people who either had already or were going to in the future be apart of the biggest Wrestlemania momemts and matches. No other Wrestlemania had such a star-studded card with all amazing matches like this one did.

I really don't know about this "forgotten/underrated gem"-stuff, as in every single "best wrestlemania"-thread I've ever seen in forums or elsewhere on the internet, the usual battle for the top spot is between X-7 and 19. So most wrestling fans have it as their favourite or at least second-favourite mania. On the other hand, I've never seen anyone name 10 or 30 as the best Wrestlemanias.

This was actually my first Wrestlemania that I watched Live. As a kid, I used to go through old tapes and watch the cable stuff to keep up with wrestling. My family couldn't afford PPVs. But when WM19 happened (I was 11) I was so into Wrestling that I could not be talked down and they bought it for me. This was where my casual childhood fandom became a rabid obsession and would remain so until I hit about 16 or 17 and it started to suck all the balls.

I wish to point out that before Lesnar made his big splash in WWE, he wrestled a dark match before a Monday Night Raw in Knoxville, TN in a tag match with Shelton Benjiman, in which he did the Shooting Star Press. It was the Raw where Austin and Triple H beat up the Hardys who were then saved by Kane and Taker. @hkhk967 жыл бұрын
Dear Whatculture. Here's your chance to produce a How WWE Should Address This Whole Paige Fiasco (Ding). My thoughts: Have the New Day enter the ring to cut a promo. They'll of course be met with 'You Fucked Paige' themed chants. The New Day address the elephant in the room, in a subtle way. For example, they begin by looking upset, or whatever. Then they turn to Woods and talk about him like he's committed something out of the ordinary. They also make a bunch of 'Page/Book' puns, like 'Woods here has turned over a new page...', or, 'The New Day are approaching the climax of our story, here in the WWE...', or how about, 'Woods splooged all over Paige's tits.', you know, whatever. Meanwhile the crowd is is loving it, and Woods puts on a look of shame. All of a sudden, Woods snatches the mic out of the hand of whoever is talking and says, 'I think I should be the one to announce it!', and then follow that up with a joke about him having a PHD, wink wink. The tone he takes suggests he's about to make an announcement or some sort of reveal. Out of nowhere, or from out of a bag they brought with them, Woods whips out a book entitled 'The Power Of Positivity', or some shit. This of course becomes their latest prop, or 'Booty' related product. The gimmick of the book could be that it's full of blank pages, and at the end of every match they win, they dip their defeated opponents' hands in ink and have them make a print on the page. I dunno, I'll let you think of a gimmick. BUT! Whatever gimmick they use with the book, they have to include the joke: 'Filling in the page!' (Im not 12, I swear) Regards, Haroon.

Riaz Uddin I loved the Rock/Austin match. I think the Stunner in that match was the greatest of all time. Brock/Angle was good because Angle was good. Good enough to carry an incompetent POS like lesnar to a watchable match. If Brock had a tenth of the talent Kurt had he wouldn't need to be such a lazyass thinking he's entitled to an easy schedule. he would actually work his tail off to prove himself worthy of the demands he makes. But the truth is lesnar is not worthy of anything cuz he never put in the work to prove himself worth. And the fans that disagree they can stick it.

19 is one of my favourites just because of Rock v Stone Cold. Pretty amazing how limber Undertaker was back then as well.
