My son had terrible eczema as a toddler- to the point where he'd wake up bleeding, from scratching in his sleep. We tried all the Rx ointments & even prednisone- no help. So I just started using Eucerin oil-based body wash on him, & then slathering him in raw, unrefined coconut oil, right after his bath, while his skin was still kind of damp. It worked within less than a week! 🎉

Coconut oil sounds great, because young boys should not regularly get in contact with lavender containig oils, because lavender influences the hormon production.

Have you checked if your baby is sensible to gluten? Because eczema ( atopic dermatitis) is a common symptom of that sensitivity. If by any chance you get a positive result from your immune system, follow you doctors instructions ( if you have one with open to really understand the problem. If not change the doctor because it will be your sons company all his life and its extremely important to protect the small intestine first and by default the rest of the digestion system and ALL the organs and systems of the body. Once you control the “ invasion” of gluten into the body ( some are even sensible to physical contact with gluten) the manifeststions of the immunological reaction will get better. The person sensible to gluten could also become sensitive to other things too, thats why controlling exacerbation keeps the immune system working but not becoming “ paranoic” I would say. In my case now I react to soy too which I don’t mind because I do not consider it healthy for me but I wasnt sensible to it before. And, I have been not responding to the dentists anesthetic for many years and I developed that problem instantaneously, from one visit to the dentist to the other. Teeth are one of the areas where sensitivity could create a disaster thanks to the malabsorption of calcium. And there I was, for 25 years trying to fix disaster without anesthesia. I even had to extract a molar without any desensitization. I recovered the possibility to use anestheic again just a year ago. I also developed cataracts in a blink of an eye without having any previous problem with the eyes except being near sighted. That is why the immune system is sooo important, because it could affect all your body from head to toe and in and out. - if baby is not sensible to gluten, better, fantastic, I pray for that! It could then be a temporay reaction to something more simple that could go away by itself at a given time soon. But checking to be sure is not a bad idea to see what is really happening and take the appropriate measure depending on the case. Blessing to your baby and best wishes to all the family.❤

Anna, I have terrible insomnia. If I can get to sleep, I am up 3 to 4 hours later, up for a few hours then finally fall asleep again an hour before I have to get up. It’s so frustrating and some days I just want to cry or at least call in to work so I can sleep. It’s 6 am right now and it’s Sunday. I’ve been up an hour. Anyway, I have found the music here on KZbin by Phi Tribe helps so much in not only getting to sleep but staying asleep longer. It’s crazy but it works for me. I like the ones with the binaural beats. I usually just play it on my iPad next to me, click the full screen (because it goes to black screen) and relax. I have headphones but I like sleeping on my side so I don’t use them a lot. There’s other sleep music content creators but Phi Tribe is the best, for me anyway. I don’t know them, have no affiliation with them etc., I just genuinely feel their music helps a lot.

Another great video, Anna, with lots of useful information. I think your hair looks great! I will be looking into the magnesium cream. I can definitely vouch for the belt hole punch. I bought one with some hesitation, thinking it would require a lot of force to punch through leather, and I don't have a lot of grip strength. It was surprisingly easy though - almost as easy as using a paper hole punch!

I'd like to share A word of warning regarding those battery devices for removing the pills or little balls that develop on knitwear and why you should use them with caution if at all. Those battery operated devices have fast moving tiny blades that cut the pills and fluff as you move the device over your knitwear, and while they do have a protective mesh-like cover, it is flexible meaning a bit too much pressure or a snag could result in cutting and creating a hole in the knitwear. This has happened a few times to me personally and as someone who owns many cashmere sweaters and am somewhat of an expert on how to care for them, I did use the tool carefully. After a few costly professional repairs, I switched to a comb item much like the one you show, where the fluff is brushed off and I can use it without worry of damaging my knitwear. It's also travel friendly so you can tuck it into your bag and easily de-pill on the go. (I despise the pills that occur especially where your crossbody bag rubs or even on the sleeves) . I'd also like to share an excellent de-pilling gadget I discovered after reading that it was included in the goodie bag for the Oscars a few years ago, I decided to give it a try. It's called the Gleaner, and it works so well that I have given them as gifts. It's like one of those things you never knew you needed until you had one and they are always appreciated. It even comes with a few interchangeable heads/combs for different types of knits ranging from finer threads to more chunkier ones. I would rather use a device that 'pulls' the built up fluff away instead of a device that 'cuts' it to remove it.

Hi Anna... Great hacks. I usually fold my sweater over because I dont think a heavier sweater looks good tucked in either. I will have to get that belt thing. You and your husband looked so nice in that pic. That is interesting about the magnesium cream. I take the magnesium glycinate vitamin pillsto sleep..others without the glycinate dont help. I am so glad you found something for your little one's excema. I have not worn heels for years...might have to try your hack. People tell me I look good in caps but I have the opposite problem..a big head😮😮😂. Adidis and a few brands fit me or a man's. You look cute in the one that fit. You were talking about castor oil. I bought the Jamaiican black oil. Even an eye doctor could not tell me why my eyes were getting gunked up at night so bad that I had a hard time opening my eyes the last three months. I used it faithfully and in three weeks it stopped and my eyelashes are thicker. I tinted my eyelashes and eyebrows, because it not help grow my brows back to my full ones of the past or make them darker. Now with the tint and thicker tinted lashes I look better in the mornings or nights I dont have mascara on. Great seeing you Anna❤❤❤ Have a great weekend

I prefer a battery operated sweater shaver. Less chance of cutting your sweater with no pulling on the fabric.

Based on the idea that the best way to create routines is to reduce friction/ reduce obstacles between you and the habit you want to achieve, I feel like the sunglasses holder would be problematic. The holder is neat to look at, however you would have to unsnap it to open it up and spread it out each time you need to retrieve your sunglasses. The minor extra step would be enough for me to just use whatever glasses were already out. I keep my sunglasses on a tray. The tray provides the glasses a home plus I can view and access the glasses with ease / no barriers, no friction.

Have you tried fixing the eczema with food elimination? Dairy? Gluten? That fixed it for my son immediately.

My head is small too. I have trouble with hats. My sister used to call me pea-head. 😂

Large hot rollers, take them out after a couple minutes, wavy curls, leave them on till cool, tight curls, pretty simple😊

It’s probably simple to most people, but I found the hot rollers frustrating! But maybe I didn’t do it enough to get good at it 🤣

Thx, Anna. I have used a cosmetic crayon in my bottom waterline all my life. 3 weeks ago I had an eye Dr. Apptmt. I wear contacts and live in the dry high desert. Dr. Told me to stop with the waterline- it blocks the tear ducts from producing liquid. No. 2, maybe you should try “Youth” size caps instead of Adult size. From your photo, the bill is too wide of the adult

That’s so interesting about the waterline! I wonder if placement just need to be adjusted a little? Thanks for the info! ❤️❤️❤️

I use a magnesium lotion I got on Amazon for RLS. If I put it on my leg and wear compression sleeves, it goes away.

Anna, watch your video. The other baseball caps have visors that are too wide for your face. The one you like has a much narrower visor. You can reshape the visor on any baseball cap. Guys do it all the time. Try it on the ones you have that don’t flatter your more narrow face shape. PS. I use castor oil on my face without a carrier oil. I pat it on well before bedtime…….it sinks in after a while 😉 and won’t feel sticky at all. It also sinks in better immediately after a hot shower when your pores are open.

I also like to layer shirt under my sweaters because I don't like wearing sweaters on my bare skin.....not because the sweater is itchy but because I don't want me oils or sweat to get on my sweaters......😂🤣🤣🤣🤣. Anyways so the bra hack never worked for me....unless I wear my bra over my shirt which is just crazy!!! So this band is a neat trick!! I'll have to try it!!! Thanks!!
