I absolutely 100% agree with you - linen is my favorite fabric for summer. I have dresses, skirts, tops and trousers collected over many years. In some cases the older it is, the better it gets. If you invest in a good linen, it’s with you for as long as you want it. Same goes for the Birkenstock’s - do I need to say how much I appreciated this video 😀.

For all of you lazy gals like me, for nice textured but not creased look of linen I recommend shaking out wet garments and tumble drying for 5 minutes with wool dryer balls…Then hang to dry 🤌🏼🤌🏼

I bought several vintage pairs of Levi’s on eBay when there was a sale of 2nd hand clothes from two different stores: buy 5 get one free, priced at £7-10! So I suppose I got them for free as the cheapest. I’m planning on upcycling a pair into a midi skirt and wide jeans with stripe down side, but maybe I’ll make some shorts. They’re darkish blue and even black, because I chose them that way: there were loads. Yes, I’m handy with the sewing machine. Makes for a fun thrifty summer. You can do it. I know you can, even by hand…( so many videos on YTB showing how) - give it a whirl!😊

Great picks, love all these choices. Another thing about the Nantucket bag (I bought mine a couple of years ago in a neutral shade that looks a lot like straw) is that it is smooth enough not to destroy certain fabrics when you wear them and the bag rubs against the clothing (happened to me with a rattan/straw bag and a beautiful dress that sadly is no longer wearable). This is my third summer with the Dragon Diffusion bag and it still looks like new, very good quality and not at all fragile.

I just bought the Birkenstock Kyoto sandals in tan and grey. They are so lovely and a bit more comfortable than the Arizona if you can believe that! Linen everything also in the summer❤️

I am obsessed with this list! I literally loved every item! I got white Madrid sandals instead of suede Arizonas for this summer and totally liked the Arizonas better! I also have been wearing the Agolde jean shorts and ended up ripping them so I love this idea to go get 501s resale and I can just model them after my Agoldes. Also I really appreciate how you look at your purchases and the reminder to shop resale and enjoy a proper tea this summer. 😃❤️

Linen is essential for our hot California summers. I iron it well, then forget about its creasing while wearing. I have the RL white sweater in the V-neck style, love it. I’m hoping they will restock the white cotton cardigan soon, it’s been so hard to find a white one, everything is ivory.

Summer is all about Linen , added some lovely H&M trousers to my wardrobe and bought the M&S ' relaxed fit cotton tank top ' as I don't like a low neck line and not a fan of the muscle vests that are around at the moment as I'm very broad , they will be perfect under a linen shirt or with shorts x

Hi Emma. As always,I love your style- so minimal and chic. I have recently purchased some linen pieces- 2 pairs of trousers and a pair of beige Bermuda’s.I love the fact that they crease as that’s the nature of the fabric and if it didn’t, it would probably have some kind of synthetic which I don’t enjoy wearing or buying. I love my Birkenstock’s and have the Boston’s in navy blue suede and the Arizona’s in black with black buckles and soles. Together with my dad sandals,they are the most comfortable and cool looking footwear. I don’t wear heels at all. I wish I could wear short shorts but sadly, those days have gone. Bermuda’s are a great alternative. My next wish list item is a white linen shirt. I really love your videos and advice and thanks for your great content.Enjoy your Jubilee weekend.💖🌸

I have the cos shorts and I understand their style, but I'm thinking of buying a pair of shorts that have zips because getting that elastic band over my hips is a monster of a time. I'm between sizes because of my hips, but have the waist size of the smaller, and I have to slide the band over my hips and try to keep the band from rolling. I need to expand my shorts inventory.. 😂
