Love a lot of these dresses but I can’t go braless (well at least not in public 😂) so sadly can’t wear some of these styles. So many dresses have such pretty backs too like you said but again not practical for me unfortunately, but I like the inspiration and variety you’ve shown. The H&M one for the wedding paired with that brown blazer and mules was fabulous! 👗 I remember a red polka dot ruffled realisation par dress that everyone was wearing a few years back it seemed to be everywhere! The green one is lovely and a bit less copied/replicated I feel 😘

I like the fact that you show some items from less well known brands, and are making the effort to source ethically produced pieces. Yes I had to pay duties but I had a discount code when I purchased them that I found online, so essentially the duties and discount counterbalanced each other so I ended up paying the actual price - if that makes sense 👍

I’m plus size and it’s hard for me to find good quality dresses. I have found retailers like Loud Bodies, Eileen Fisher, J Crew and Elizabeth Susazane are great for plus sizes.Loud Bodies let’s you add pockets to anything.

I have 1 summerdress (love Love them but i don't always feel it ) but i can gush big when i see dresses. Like Cecilie Bahnsen (okay its very Very expensive) but oh so beautiful From all fastfashion brands hm is the best (They have lots of pieces that yearly come back: sometimes the print but then linnen instad of cotton & innstad of a dress a playsuit. Their tees from the basics, the linnen tees and their are the least trend focus then a Zara or so, they have their consius line & they have the " bring in your old clothes" for reusing the textile & you get a voucher if you bring it in). So in that direction they do better then others. Now eticle they can do so so much better in providing the workers a better workplace, better work conditions & higher paying. But i've seen a docu a few years back and the journalist was in Thailand or Cambodja (can't remember the exect country) anyway, he visit people at their homes for interview: & next day he followed 2 people of same family from morning to evening (how they start day, how they go to work (with an old bike with a motor. You know what i mean) 1s they got to the factory there were men who didn't want the journalist go in at first but he got in (as short possible off course) and they were packed in a very small space, very close to eachother. But that was it what he got to film ( so drinking, eating, breaks ) no idea. When the 2 were done afther more then 10h of working, the 2 couldn't (or maybe not aloud to speak about it) drink, food break. Next day "s he tride to visit the gouverment (he first got like 9 or 10 no's for talking with the mayor who was also minister also head of police etc... So 1 man was many things and he said on the question: " why don't get these people better work conditions?" Answere: " bc of the corruption in the country" "If 1 gets that then every factory in the country wants it & the bosses from those factorys didn't want that bc in their eyes then the people who working could get lazy " 🤷🏻‍♀️🤔🙄 But like hm now HM could give them atleast a higher income like 5$ a day (which for us is "nothing" but for these people its a huge deal a really huge deal. But is it realistic for them? Are they safe then? Can they stay safe? I don't know, i really don't know. There is no simple solution for this Now like you said: buy 2thhand HM! Well i did last week, i bought a linnen wide leg, highwaisted pants from 2y ago. Reason i said no back then was: I don't buy fastfashion anymore. And i did for 2y.. But after 2y it wasn't realistic for our family so now only if i can't find it in 2thhand stores, webshops etc... I go then to HM Sorry for such a long comment this early on a sunday 😊🌸✌🏻🌳

Yes I found it was really quick - less than a week which I was really surprised about but is obviously fantastic. Although it may depend on customs etc. in the country you are in. We sent something to Simon's brother in Germany the week before last and it took a whole week to get through customs 🤦‍♀️ 😂

@@liseyloubabs i just wanted to update you in case you haven’t ordered yet and still are in doubt about it, first of all, the fabric is AMAZING! you can’t see it on photos/videos but it feels so luxurious. sizing wise i’m keeping the L, it fits me more like Emma in the video, lovely big, wider shoulders. if you don’t want that, just want it a bit loose fit but not big, then definitely go for the M, the shoulders are a bit less wide.
