10 Fixes For Your LEGO Star Wars Gunship 75354

The LEGO Coruscant Guard Gunship is almost perfect... but that means I can make it a little bit better! So today we're making 10 improvements to this set that add new play features, extra detail and stronger connections. Let me know if you will be doing any of these yourself and if you'd like instructions for the double door.

The fact it could use so many fixes speaks volumes. The previous versions weren’t perfect but boy was I disappointed. Excellent video though deserves more views. I’ve got a different version but if I had this one I’d definitely be using this guide.

the previous models also needed a handfull of modifications. I own the 2008 version and I have some gripes with it, even though I still love the set to this day

@@vincentperon2950 It speaks volumes for the rest of the set that it's still good 16 years later. Gunships themselves are so iconic!

@@vincentperon2950 the 2008 is larger with more details and way more features same case for the 2013 version. At least when they downscaled the x wing and tie fighters there wasn’t a loss in value with what you can actually do with them. There definitely was by a very noticeable margin here. The new one is the most sturdy from what I’ve heard but that doesn’t justify such a huge difference in functionality.

idk if your gunship is faulty, but my front door doesn't remove the cheese slope or goes down slowly

Perhaps I should try a new LEGO clip & see if that fixes it, thanks for letting me know!

Could you remake the set so only the back drops down like a chinook helicopter.

It would only take a few pins with studs in place of those hinges for the doors and that would still leave plenty of space on the inside for up to 3 speeders. Though if one gets stuck it might be handy to keep a door to open in case of emergencies. Keep an eye out for a future short!
