Back here again after your last video😅 I find intriguing how our taste changes on some things overtime and how it maintains its hold on others. There are fragrances that a couple of years ago I would consider among my favourites, but I would not bother wearing now. And some remain strong loves to this day. I appreciate it when people repeat fragrances in their top lists, because it seems more genuine than curating their picks according to trends and every new release they want to push. I really appreciate you checking this one too. I was thinkng about it. I think I woud still be happy and fulfilled with this lineup if I was "stuck" with it till this day. Nottheless as we keep discovering new things, we come across stuff that simply take over the place of others. In my current list i am kinda aware that the last 4 would probably change in a while...but the "core" will remain the same. I am really curios to look into the future to find out.

Numbers 1 and 2 were a given! Sunshine Woman too. Ivory Route a goodie goodie. 😁I think I tried this exercise a number of times and more than half of them kept changing. The ones that stayed the same were always nostalgic designers from the 70s-90s. 😆 Reformed into oblivion since then unfortunately. But I CAN tell you that there was never a "blue" type freshie among them. Because trying to find one these days is like trying to find a tree in the forest. If you close your eyes, you'll eventually walk into one. 🤣Green, woody, spicy, fougere, with the odd rich amber sweetie. That about designates the categories for me.

Yeah certain perfumes are just engarved in a stone, "untouchables", but I do agree the ending 5 is usually fluctuating, mainly because of our current scent obsessions, it's pretty hard to judge whether we will feel the same after a while (said a woman with novelites on numer two and three spot, hahhahahahha). Certainly, there are type ofe perfumes that shall probably never appear in my collection let alone top 10.

I don’t even want to think about it 😂, but just for fun: Egoïste, Menthe Fraîche, Dirty, 31 Rue Cambon, Sartorial, Another 13, Io non ho mani …, Aqua Celestia, New York Intense, and sometimes BR540. Oh, and it’s a bad idea to save fragrances, but I do this as well. So let’s wear more of Shalimar Millesime etc. and 31 Rue Cambon (I’ve still got the EdT version that I will never be able to buy again and haven’t event dared to smell the new iteration).

Yeah, you listed quite a few scents I associate with you, that is quite evocative, isn't it? Our staples we oftten take for granted , just as old, reliable, faithful friends (sometimes they might not seem as exciting or fun as new people who facsinate us on on our life journey), but in the end they are the most valuable ones.

Alien Essence Absolue - niesamowity, inny od pozostałych Muglerowych wypustów. Polecam! Ale z początkiem roku (kurczę, dopiero styczeń!!) pojawiła się nowa miłość: BDK Rouge smoking - ach, co to jest za wanilia :-) Znasz? :-)

Hej, miło Cię tu widzieć. Witam serdecznie. Essence Absolute nie zam, ale ciągle o nim słyszę,ale nawet nie szukam, bo jest wycofany :D Rouge Smoking znam, ale dla mnie to bomba wiśniowo-tonkowa, nie odbieram go jako zapachu waniliowego, mam dwie próbki, które o czasu do czasu noszę z dużą przyjemnością, ale nie czuję, żebym potrzebowała flaszki. Dama Bianca ma szczególne miejsce w moim sercu i chyba już tak pozostanie. Mam oddzielny filmik o moich ukochanych waniliach, jeśli masz ochotę. Troszku tego jest :D Muszę chyba nagrać uzupełnienie, bo kilka zapachów mi doszło w tzw. międzyczasie

Ja słuchaj Alien Essence Absolue zamówiłam sobie odlewkę z czystej ciekawości i... przepadlam. U nas jest do znalezienia na grupach fb, olx lub vinted - w mniej lub bardziej przystępnych cenach :-) Dla mnie to ciekawe zjawisko, bo.. to jedyny Mugler, którego akceptuję 😅😅Zapisałam sobie dużo inspiracji od Ciebie i aktualnie nawet poszukuję Cinema 🤪Niestety Shalimar Millessime jest u nas totalnie nie do znalezienia, a rzeczywiście szukam już od jakiegoś czasu 😅Tak wiec - zazdro!!!

My taste has changed so much since last year that I truly don’t know what I would keep for life anymore. But Stella by Stella McCartney has been in my collection for almost 20 years, it’s my « Cinéma scent » for sure. Gabrielle by Chanel… maybe La Vie est Belle. It’s hard! 😅

Well, i have noticed that during the last year my preferences have shifted sligtly as well.I tend to gravitate more towards a bit more luminous, fresh, crisp scents in the last few months and reach for my darker, denser perfumes less often these days. I just hope my current 10 for life choices would still be valid in years to come. But as I type it I know very well that limiting myslef to 10 is completely unrealistic, so I truly just treat this as some fun exercise :D Thank you for your comment.
