Fragrances getting discontinued is real pain! My one and only all time favorite is Armani Code Satin (and this scent has litterally NOTHING to do with the original Armani Code scent). All of a sudden it got discontinued (like quite all Georgio Armani perfumes do) and that was reall pain... I could never Ever find a scent that would replace it; it's a sweet winter slightly spicy fragrance, and the touch of ginger makes it unique. At least I have 1 unopened bottle, and I think it will remain unopened forever :(

I just went though a whole bottle of the biggest size 90 ml. I have a brand new bottle of the intense version but the original Libre is my biggest love and just like you I won’t be breaking up with her for a long time 🥰

You have terrific good fortune. I'm most envious. To find out that something special is being discontinued and have enough time to stock up...oh I am envious. 2020 and 2021 were real BUMPER years for me, in terms of mass discontinuation of most of my favourite finds, things I'd hunted for and spent real effort in finding. It felt like dominoes, one after another they all fell. And when I emailed the companies directly to find out how I could order 'back up supplies', I discovered they were already out of stock. You are so on the pulse, I think it's terrific. Also, all customer data which these places harvest really ought to be put to noble use sometimes: the system ought to flag loyal purchasers of certain items and give THEM priority warnings to 'stock up' as their favourite shower gel, foundation or fragrance is soon to be discontinued. I'd have appreciated that. Channels like yours are a great place to turn to for new introductions to replacement 'loves'. Thank you!

The pain of fragrances getting discontinued is real! Right now I only have backups for Elizabeth & James Nirvana Amethyst because it works so well with my body chemistry and my spidey senses tingled big time when they disappeared from Sephora. I don't have anything else that I feel is in danger of being discontinued but am keeping a close watch on faves in case I need to stock up. Also, in case you haven't yet seen, Lisa's cosmetics online has Serge Lutens right now. Thought I'd mention it just in case!

I don't currently have back ups, but I am considering to buy some bottles of YSL Cinema. It's a very simple perfume, but it reminds me of my teenage years, when I first discovered it. Also, it's not that hard to find for now, but I think it's only the matter of time. Also also, I demand more cat through the videos :D

I have a pretty large collection, so I try not to have backups. I do have a few though. I have a couple bottles of the old formulation of both Angel and Alien as well as an extra bottle of Alien Essence Absolu. Also have a back up of YSL Cinema, L'Impertrice (Couldn't pass up $15) and Girl of Now Shine (that darn $19.99 rack).

I don't have any backups but if there is one perfume which I am very sad because it is discontinued, is Sun di Gioia by Armani 😞 It was recomended to me by a salesman in Sephora. The way he presented it was very nice. He asked me if I know about this perfume, then took my hand and sprayed it on my wrist. That's how I ended up buying it. For me it is the perfect summer scent, it lasts pretty long on my skin and is not very common.

@@malamaca174 I managed to buy my bottles from a trusted retailer in the UK a while ago before stocks depleted but I think your best bet would be to search on eBay. The asking price is a bit high now but a good alternative is Jean Paul Gaultier Classique Essence de Parfum. It has a similar scent and may be more reasonably priced. Hope you find a bottle soon!

I’ve only been obsessed with perfume for 6 months so I don’t have a lot of back ups yet but I do have one. I have a back up of Mauboussin Histoire d’Eau because it’s discontinued and I found a tester for like $15. It’s a sort of dry, spiced, aromatic amber fragrance with a leather note. It makes me think of a beautiful old home full of antiques and lots of old books. I want more Alien Essence Absolue bc I just have a 10ml decant and I love it. I def want a back-up of of Givenchy Organza Indecence and I’ve been thinking of buying a back up of Elizabeth Arden 5th Avenue Royale because I’m obsessed and I’m worried it might be discontinued. I also want to get a back up of Comme des Garçons Pharrell Williams Girl because it’s discontinued and my bf is blowing through my bottle. 😤

I have a couple of backups but I don't think any of them are discontinued but a couple have been reformulated. I have about 4 backups of Christian LaCroix Rouge which was an Avon release, and for the longest time I couldn't find it anywhere. I also have Guerlain Terracotta, Samsara in the old red bottle, Creed Love in White, a couple of Shalimar Souffle de Parfums in the limited edition peacock bottle.

Watching this made me realize that I don’t know where my backup bottles are! Currently I only have one backup of Fancy which wasn't planned at all. I ordered a gift set online and then I saw it in the store and decided to get it while I'm waiting for the one in the mail to arrive. 😂 The only fragrance I used to have backups for was BCBG , original pink and yellow one, Bon Chic. They used to have BCBG perfume in stores everywhere really cheap, so I would always get it.

I have a backup bottle drawer. Not that I'm necessarily afraid that these fragrances will be discontinued - I just want to ensure that I am comfortably stocked in the extremely unlikely case that I would suddenly not be able to order anything for a long period of time. Anyway, some of the bottles in the backup drawer include Pure Malt, Pure Havane, The Dreamer, Baraonda, J.V. Vintage, Bentley Intense, Back to Black refill, Uden, and Naxos.

Great video. I was never particular about my perfume. I bought a few through the years, and was gifted many many more. There was this one perfume that I got as a gift for graduation from high school many many years ago that I barely used due to it’s sentimental value. I bought my first backup when I found a bottle of it on eBay. I also bought several now vintage perfumes that me or my mom used to wear all those years ago. Now as an adult I have favorites and would buy backups of my favorite perfumes or my childhood ones if I can find/afford them.
