White in Black smells great for about two hours, then it's gone. I wish it lasted longer. I bought Gucci Guilty Black in 2013, when I was in college and made it my daily wear fragrance. It smelled nice and fresh and was great for wearing in class. It got quite a few complements. I always thought the name was a misnomer. The name change makes sense.

Picked up both Dior Homme Cologne and ADG Parfum this year and they are top tier. I’ve gotten great performance from Homme Cologne. Givenchy Gentleman Society is probably my next pick up. In a tight race with Ocean Le Parfum and Ralph’s Club rn

Acqua di gio parfum 2024 (magnetic cap) is having the exact same notes as profumo, frangrantica have out of date information. it have 2023 parfum with oilbanum and no magnetic cap notes. 2024 version smells pretty much like profumo when i compare it with my 2015 bottle of profumo

Great video and list Ash! I agree with Boss Bottled Absolu. It’s f’n amazing. I own all 3 in that line - Absolu, Elixir, and Triumph Elixir, and Elixir is still my favorite. That one is really about that frankincense, and frankincense and myrrh are my favorite smells of all time. Yes, I adore smelling like a gothic church. I know plenty of people that hate that smell, but to me, (pun intended), it’s heaven.

Elixir, Triumph Elixir and Absolu all have the same nasty incense smell. Elixir after a few months of aging is a better more palatable fragrance but still nothing outstanding.

Boss Bottled Absolu definitely has some Layton in there along with Carlisle. I thought ppl were crazy until my second wear , then my cousin asked me what I had layered with Layton during XMas. He couldn’t believe it was actually Bottled Absolu. Also do you think ADG Parfum ‘24 is closer to Profumo than the ‘23 was ? Or are they exactly the same ? I know it was reformulated after 1 year so I’m curious.

Having both of them honestly the new parfum last maybe an hour longer but the original Profumo projects maybe a bit more in the first couple hours! But don’t get it twisted haha the new Parfum has solid projection!

The last 3 bottled releases all have a horrific incense smell to them. After a few months of aging the Elixir isn't as bad as it was but you still smell like somebody set a hippie on fire.
