Sauvage parfum is a beast fragrance for me. 10+ hours longevity and 3 hours of great projection i liked even more with the time than edp and edt. Elixir is more grown up for me but also a beast mode fragrance. I also have PDM layton and Xerjoff naxos just the best in my collection.

I love the incense note on Bleu De Chanel Parfum. Its turned up a bit compared to the EDT. Makes it nice for fall/winter. Got a near full 100ml of the Parfum for $95 a few years ago. Great buy!

I gave in to the hype and bought the one million lucky and I loved the opening scent with the hazelnut and honey but once it dryed down, it just gave me a headache inducing very synthetic smell. It smelled like some very cheap kids cologne you buy from a gift shop and I couldn't believe this was beloved by so many! I eventually returned it and got the Ysl le parfum which I'm very pleased with. I'm not really a huge fan of Paco Rabanne fragrances in general, but I did really like the Phantom and get alot of compliments from it. Armani code absolu also didn't pique my interest too much, it smells ok but theres this undertone scent in it that just puts me off. It smells like burnt rubber or one of those fake brand new plastic toys. idk maybe I just got a bad bottle but I didn't enjoy it AT ALL.

BDC EDP's opening is something I really don't enjoy that much. It's still super versatile, but now I really prefer ADG EDP for the warm half of the year. BDC Parfum is more interesting to me, and I enjoy the opening; less projection, but if I have to choose the BDC for myself, I'd go with the Parfum.

Layton is.the best ,in my humble opinion nothing comes close ,The .fragrance I get most compliments from as of lately is ANI .I own lucky , BDC ,Dior elixer, Layton Code absolu .

Layton gets amazing reviews and I enjoy it, but I've actually gotten more negative feedback on it being too overwhelming than compliments. An asthmatic co-worker had to leave the room and asked me to "scrub off the excess deodorant" when I was wearing one full-bottle spray of Layton. No problems with one spray of anything else. For me it was a learned taste due to its robustness and impossible-to-miss strength. It seems to be more of a fragcom sweetheart, not as widely loved by untrained noses.

By full bottle do you mean 100ml? I haven't ever had anyone say anything like that, I will have to check and see if I am 'that guy' when I wear it! One spray isn't much, I am going to be mortified if the 3-4 I'm spraying is 4x too much!

@@Jchriddy Yeah the 125ml bottles, ones with a firehose sprayer. Creed also has firehose sprayers. You only get 7 sprays per ml out of them, when most bottles give +12 sprays. One spray of Aventus is my go-to, topping up every 5-6 hours or so.

i certainly agree on the bleu de chanel edp being much better than parfum. however, the sauvage elixir? it definitely last long, its definitely expensive, but i don't get some people wanting to smell like grandpa if grandpa only ate licorice for a year.

It’s funny, while the anise is there, on me the nutmeg is most prominent. I mostly get the stronger anise note during the mid mixed in with the lavendar but it never dominates. Now, the elixir came with a little 10ml Sauvage edt sample bottle that doesn’t have an atomizer. Used as a splash the anise is front and center during the opening but it does quickly fade once it dries down. But I don’t get that from the edt when sprayed. So odd. I don’t like black licorice personally but it’s my dads favorite so I get the comparison.

I don't see it either. They both share vanilla and a touch of burnt sugar but JPG Ultramale has a juicy like pear note, slight bubblegum sweetness that I don't get in Layton. Layton smells like you took the best parts of Boss Bottled + Chanel Allure Homme + Bvlgari Man in Black. Both Ultramale & Layton are 🔥, but if I had to pick just one Layton is my pick

@@jasonclark3724 Smell jubilation XXV, grand soir, costume National soul, psychedelique, gucci Intense Oud, bdj ,naxos, enigma and shaghaf Oud Aswad (maybe not,but I like it) 2 name but a few of the scents out there. Then get back 2 me and say absolutely is fantastic.
