I recently picked up The Scent Parfum Edition. To me, it's right there with Private Accord in terms of quality and how much I like the scent (yes, that was deliberate). Well worth getting, especially since the bottle looks so nice to display.

The presentation definitely is very nice. I love dark iris scents so when I saw that blacked out bottle it pulled me right in. But sadly, the maninka note turns me off. It's still new to me so maybe I'll come around. But I don't get the DHI comparison at all.

I think you should start calling out the big companies that buy out brands as the reason for stuff getting discontinued. The A*Men line was perfectly fine until L’Oréal bought Mugler. Prada got turned upside down after L’Oréal bought them too.

I wish copycat companies would copy these instead of another Aventus... Pulse of the night is very close to Armaf Radical Brown but the latter has a little cherry kind of note as well and it is or was crazy cheap... also similar to Armaf Odyssey Homme but this is less dense much more wearable and has some iris...

Pulse of the Night is a bit overhyped imo. It’s nice enough, but it’s nowhere near as close to Herod as people make out (to my nose at least), and I found it overwhelmingly powdery. Interesting profile for a designer scent though, I’ll give them that.

Daniel Josier has a fragrance line. There’s one called Ambre Tabac I’ve read is comparable to 1M Privé. I own one fragrance from the line called green leather and the quality is nice.

I think you mean Michael For Men by Michael Kors, rather than Michael Kors For Men, as in Michael Kors For Men they removed the tobacco, cinnamon, cardamon & dried fruits. Only a slight difference in name but I didn't want your viewers buying the wrong frag. They're still similar but the 2014 MK4M is weaker than the 2001 M4M. The OG is much nicer.
