Guessing this is juat gonna list every card from dreameaters. This cycle was bonkers Edit: i forgot that dream enhancing serum has that silly reveal text. I swear some of the designers we're trying to hint to FFG to bring back netrunner. Reveal only makes sense in a pvp game and theres another card that straight up uses clicks.

Well timed! I’m so excited to get the Dream-eaters investigator box. It’s the last box I need to complete my player card collection.

Brute Force + Minh = always a good time. It is so cheap to add two copies to your deck. Seeker and Survivor already feel strong with minimal XP so, it never feels bad to add them into Minh's deck to help out the bruiser.

I expected Crystallizer of Dreams to make this list! Though I can see it's not useful in as many decks as the other cards on this list.

Other cards I love from Dream Eaters: Dream Dairy and Old Book of Lore 3 (this in particular is bonkers in Daisy). Scavenging 2 is obviously broken, but Scrounge For Supplies is also really nice, not necessarily overpowered but gives consistency especially to survivor combo decks. Nothing Left to Lose (3) is also incredible, it's really easy to have it give you 3-5 resources and 1-3 cards, and that's just insane for a 0 cost card, and that's not even the cap on the card. Easily Faustian Bargain level as a resource card. My sense is it gets underplayed because it feels like it only belongs in Patrice. Momentum (1) gives a lot of extra punch to the succeed by archetype by effectively letting you double dip on any cards/resources/abilities you expend on your first big test. I think they did a nice job in this set of rounding out some existing decks and providing cards that add a lot for other investigators.

I think Nothing Left To Lose gets underplayed because it's 3 xp. When economy at level 0 is usually good enough in scenarios 1 through 8, it's less exciting to buy that as opposed to another experienced card. Not to say Nothing Left To Lose isn't a powerful card, because it is.

@@PlayingBoardGames I hear that, upgrading economy is often a thing I plan to do but then when it comes down to it I typically choose something more exciting instead...

You haven't lived in this game until you've played the entire scenario of In Too Deep without having to take a single move action. Safeguard to the moon.

I think I will run deck building with my players with this House Rule, at the start of a campaign, half the Asset, half the Event and half the Skill Cards are random - this will prevent default optimisation and allow lacklustre cards back into play.

It’s actually become hard for me to not include Tetsuo Mori in basically every guardian deck I make. He’s just an unreal ally that covers so many bases. If he was only Prepared for the Worst on his way out he’d still be amazing, but helping others and targeting discard piles is huge.

Can you please explain, in Brute Force, what is "basic fight" vs. not a basic fight action?

Fight actions taken on weapons or events are what you see as common fight actions that are not basic.

@@PlayingBoardGames Ahhh, so if a card says Fight (bold) than it's not basic. If a card says "when you fight" that could go along with a basic fight action. Think I got this. Thanks!

Practiced Makes Perfect makes me want to buy an additional Dark Side of the Moon to have extra copies. Anyone selling? 🤪

If you play with sleeves, proxying is very doable. When I want extra copies of a card I print them out on normal printer paper and slip them into a sleeve alongside any random Magic: The Gathering card. Fits right into the Arkham collection.
