I get your joke. But if we learn about crunch it's sad, familiar among creators of games, animes, catoons, cgi, etc. These creators are overworked, some straight for 20 hours! Had to work 60 hours a week, on top of extra work without pay. So, a game below $1 is cheap considering the work done by the creators while the profits goes to the company. We have to support them if you have the necessity and if you are a true gamer.

I grew up around truckers and figured it would be fun but I'm not sure fun is the right word describe my experience actually playing it. I think y'all should do a list of games that were ground breaking at the time but terrible now. When I go back and play old Grand theft auto games those game are almost unplayable because the shooting and targeting is so bad. I played San Andreas about a month ago and I was like how did I ever play these games with the broken shooting system.

San Andreas actually has a kinda sort of playable aiming system, but I tried playing gta 3 on my phone and that game has some of the worst aiming mechanics ever. It makes simple missions way harder than they should be

There are definitely parts of GTA SA that don't work. Taking over gang territories was always my favorite part. Shame recruiting homies did nothing other than give you meatshields. The shooting is a little wonky though. I think on my second playthrough I realized that not locking on but manually moving the reticle actually makes your shots more accurate, especially with things like shotguns.

Im a native Finnish speaker and also I faintly remember that it was mentioned somewhere that the "official hand to hand combat of jedis is "Teras Kasi" and (this is the part Im not that sure 'bout) that Lucas got the name straight from Finnish language because it "sounded cool"... Nevertheless The coincidence is too glaring, it clearly is The Finnish word but "made fit into english speaking mouth" by removing the "ä's"

I'm from Finland as well, but totally missed the part where that was mentioned (part of it was the fact that the title was never shown in its written form and I didn't know about the hand to hand combat term in Star Wars) =/ Also, not to nitpick or anything but "Teräs Käsi" directly translates to "Steel Hand" (steel = teräs, iron = rauta). I agree that it is pretty cringy as many things tend to be when translated into Finnish (or vice versa in this case, I guess. Sorta?) =P However, I think it's pretty neat that other people find the Finnish language cool even if we don't, haha!

Deadly Premonition IS a love letter to Twin Peaks. It picks up near the middle and starts feeling like an interactive Twin Peaks. The lead writer specifically stated that the game was a huge love letter to the classic. It is. More than that I heard somewhere that the combat system was an afterthought. Originally the game was supposed to go without combat and then the publishers and marketing ppl or whatever stepped in and made the creators to include combat.. hence the weird controls.

#3 Rogue Warrior is based on the book "Rogue Warrior" by Richard Marcinko, Navy SEAL and founder of SEAL Team Six. This guys personality was a lot more tolerable before the War in Afghanistan. Now he just missed the boat. Still a fun beer-read.

I recently got it on Switch afyer hearing so much about it. I love it. I can't really explain why I love it and my friends give me weird looks when I play it at work, but I love this weird, acid trip of a game.

Blood On The Sand was a killer game! Bulletproof had a better story line (of course) but it was fun to play. I agree entirely with the rest of em though.

Honestly i haven't even played the game an i think that the game, just because of it's concept, is really good and i want a sequel. Like a massive big budget sequel that has cuting-edge graphics, great (but slightly shallow) shooting and a plot so ridiculous it defies description. I want that now.

yeah... the Southpark game was on PC as well. And could be modded like all good Doom clones of the era. The fun was in multiplayer deathmatch.

So rogue warrior is a series of books written by Richard Marcinko. He was a navy seal who helped found seal team 6. His first few books were true stories. After that people loved the series so much he continued making stories. The true story’s are great the fake ones are over the top
