Sooo many amazing things to dive into. That Curtis Harding, definitely checking that out. Freedom Affair, Yeti Season & Menahan St Band are all albums I've been introduced to thanks to your mentions in other videos. I was JUST ABOUT to mention Kelly Finnigan...and you took the words right out of my mouth. Love, love, love that album. One of the best of its kind that I've heard in a verrry long time. Best new music find for me. Never Love Again. 👌🏽

Isaac, all heaters. Black Market Brass is the best. Kelly Finnigan and Monophonics kick ass. The Freedom Affair is on my radar. Also something to check out from Colemine, if you aren’t familiar yet. Sure Fire Soul Ensemble “st” from 2015. Have a wonderful day. Peace ☮️ Namaste 🙏 The Zonkman

My friend John Carbonella plays drums in the Budos Band. He also part of our local DJ community where I live. Great video. Keep up the good work!

Killer funk & soul my friend. Whenever I'm in a bad mood, I drop on some Budos or anything on Colemine and my mood instantly gets better. Great description of Kelly Finnigan. ~Corey

Oh yes, my kind of stuff!! Love the Budos Band but I don't have this album yet on vinyl... Not familiar with The Freedom Affair; I'll check it out. Curtis Harding, yes! He's fantastic... El Michels Affair is amazing; I love pretty much everything that Big Crown Recs put out... Beautiful debut by Kelly Finnigan, he's very talented... I purchased this Manahan Street album a few months ago, it's so good!! Great picks my friend. I would recommend as well a young Blue-Eyed Soul artist named Allen Stone. He's has very nice vocals and has a style similar to Stevie Wonder's. His latest album is called Building Balance.

I like the Kelly Finnigan set but the rest is a bit kitsch for me where it blends old and new with some weird sounds thrown in. A bit too much contemporary phrasings and excursions like in that Curtis Harding. This new stuff is sort of like Daptone gets the D'angelo Voodoo treatment. I don't think think stuff will hold as wells as say Sharon Jones.

I appreciate your takeaway, Sharon Jones was a fabulous talent as well. Lee Fields also still brings the heat. Thank you for watching

@@blindislind7485 Do you know where I can sample contemporary soul records? I'm getting tired of hearing old sound quality
