seriously? i think those riffs were lame. I'm sure an average Swedish death metal player would abandon half of those riffs and move on in case they happen to find them while writing music. I'm an amateur and even I have better riffs saved in my computer. Trivium is such an overrated band. Just listen to 10 great In Flames riffs.

Such an idiotic comment. Yes, they are different genres and there are differences in terms of song structures, etc. But the foundation of Trivium riffs played in this video are very close to those that you can hear in Swedish death metal bands.
