I think that one of the saddest things ever is coming to a video of a guy that basically reignited my passion for playing guitar with the metal covers he used to do on movies soundtracks as I went back to the terminator video a few months back hoping that he left KZbin because he started his life and doing good, only to find out from a recommended video that he died. my heart truly aches. Rock in Peace brother, I hope heavens and it’s talents welcome you to the halls of jams with open arms 💔

+xSmythosx no one is looking over new born, hysteria or city of delusion. All three of those are considered by most to be some of their best songs. But of those three songs, new born is the only one with a particularly extraordinary riff. Hysteria is all about the bass line (though the riff is still great) and city of delusion is practically entirely made of chords, with no distinguishable riff. In terms of difficulty, plug in baby is muse's best riff, though obviously songs like new born, knights of cydonia, unnatural selection and exo-politics also have excellent riffs.

Through the Fire and Flames isn't on here. If you played guitar hero (which I didn't I learned about DF on my own) you loved that song.

I was expecting Natives or something but The Adventure is a great riff too. Maybe because most of the best blink riffs in the 00s were written by Tom and he didn't want to use the same guitarist twice
