Giannis story is very touching..having been in Europe several times you see young kids constantly selling on the street just to survive with their family. Giannis and Jimmy have been two of my favorite players for some time now. But not growing up with much myself, I relate with players more that come from extremely humbling beginnings. Much respect for them and all the players who made it out the streets

I think it's that no one expected anything from him and no D1 schools wanted him. Just like Jimmy he had to work his way up (D2 schools and late draft picks, playing on the bench, etc.) I mean D1 schools are already eyeing Lebron's son but no one looked past Steph's physique.

According to my father, Jimmy Butler is a cousin if mine. Not sure of the whole story but I am happy he was able to overcome certain challenges and make a career in the NBA.
